The date goes well!

It was happening! He was actually going on a date with Jessica Lane! Sitting in his car in the station’s parking lot, Chris nervously glanced back and forth between the door and his car’s clock. The time read 11:45. After setting up the date, Chris finished the last half hour of his shift and had just enough time to clean his car, take a shower and clean himself up, and have a little dinner. He got back to the station around 11 and spent the rest of his time trying to decide what bar to even go to for drinks.

5 minutes later, the door opened and the remaining night crew headed home for the day. Jessica had traded her body-hugging pink dress she’d worn for the broadcasts for a dark jeans, flowery blue blouse, and light hooded jacket. She stepped out into the lot and looked around for him before finding the only car with its headlights on and cautiously making her way over. Chris got out of the car and politely opened the door for her. She smiled and took a seat as Chris got back into the driver’s seat and started the engine.

“Hey, soooo... I can’t be out too late. Just a couple of drinks between friends. Is that... ok?” Jessica said, clearly nervous. Chris felt bad, he wondered if her subconscious was confused and scared with her current actions. Did the ring **** these feelings into her? Or was this hear rationalizing her decisions to herself?

“Oh, yeah no problem, no problem!” Chris said as he headed to the bar. An idea struck him suddenly! “You seem a bit nervous, are you worried you’re not going to have fun or something?”

There was a slight shift in her demeanor, but Jessica still seemed anxious as they rode. “No, I’m not worried, you seem like a great guy. I’m just.. antsy... I guess.”

A few minutes later, Chris pulled into a local classy bar and the pair was taking seats at a booth in the corner. Chris ordered a Coke and Jack Daniels which, to his surprise, Jessica ordered a second of. As the waitress left, an awkward silence filled the area. Chris coughed and started up the small talk.

“So, did the rest of the newscasts go well?”

Jessica sighed and rolled her eyes. “Not even slightly. Prompter died halfway through the six, my mic didn’t get cut and I made an ass of myself during one of the breaks, and don’t even get me started on Jeffrey.” Shit, Chris had to be careful what questions he asked while wearing this ring...

“Oh shit, that doesn’t sound good...” Chris scrambled to bring the conversation to a happier tone. “I mean, you’ve got a pretty difficult job to be on air every day. I couldn’t be in your shoes, that’s for sure.”

“Oh, please. I’m just reading aloud to an audience every day” Jessica responded with a smile. “I’ve seen the work you guys have in the back room, that’s way more multitasking than I could handle.”

The conversation continued for a while as small talk and, over time, evolved into jokes about management or the goofy old reporter who was constantly making a fool of himself. Eventually, midway through their respective 2nd drinks, Jessica yawned and looked at her phone for the time. Chris sensed an end to their conversation and, in a panic, remembered that he wanted to test his ring’s powers on her! He’d seen an entire person’s clothing style change from the ring, what other physical changes could he do?

“Hey Jessica, I’ve got a question for you...” Chris said tentatively. “I’d say we’re having good conversation but... you wouldn’t mind if I ask you more lewd questions right?”

At first, Jessica seemed a little taken aback, but then a slight blush grew and she sheepishly looked around. “Uh... I don’t mind... depending on what you consider ‘lewd’ in a public place. I do have a certain.. public image to keep up...”

Chris smiled broadly, a wolfish smile that seemed to grow from deep down in the part of him he tried to hide in public. Here was the perfect opportunity to try out the many fetishes he’d always kept hidden. After a minute a thinking it over, he tested the waters on his first question.
