A tragic mix-up.

On the way to the admin office they passed multiple public bathrooms that Tia insisted they had no time to stop at. K-T had to resort to the age old rub your hands together to make them dry faster technique, which made his hands sticky with half dried cum rather than wet.

They entered the office and stopped at the counter. A very fat and probably more than 50 years old secretary was greeting them from the other side.

"Tia, what brings you here?" asked the admin worker.

"Hi Donna. This is K-T Smith, he's here for his ID and tattoo." She replied.

"Wait, what is it about a tattoo? no one told me about that!" asked K-T, quite anxious now. Embarrassment would pass in time but no one talked to him about anything permanent like that.

"Oh don't worry. It's not a real tattoo. We have a machine that prints on skin with a special ink activated by a laser. You will just get your name, student ID number and a QR code printed on your hand. That way you can use it on scanners all around the place to open doors or identify yourself on computers. Campus security or the police can also scan it and get the information about you having to wear this even outside campus. This is very useful and you can never lose the key to your room. It lasts roughly five years but it's better to freshen it up every 3 years or it doesn't read correctly sometimes." She explained. To expose this she showed him the back of her left hand where he saw what she had just described. He had missed it because she had been holding her clipboard with this hand all along. There was her name, a 12 digit number and a small QR code the size of a quarter.

"Put your hand in the printer, darling. I'll get you your ID." said Donna.

K-T put his hand on the hand print sign inside of the open box like device on the counter. He closed the velcro strap around his wrist, no doubt designed to stop the hand from moving during the print. Donna typed something on a computer and a piece of the device lowered just above his hand.

The printing head moved back and forth above his skin for a couple of minutes, followed by the hot sting of the laser supposed to activate the ink. It wasn't extremely painful, probably a lot less than a real tattoo, but it was not comfortable. Donna was waiting in front of a strange printer with a very small exit slot that was buzzing and emitting machine noises. She recovered a plastic card ejected from the slot a few seconds before the tattoo finished printing.

She put it on the counter, K-T could see the face with the QR code and as he unstrapped his hand he saw a matching one on his skin. From what he knew the design of the black and blank squares of the code were almost random, generated from the data that they were coding for. Still K-T couldn't catch a break, the center of the design had a big almost blank area with only two small squares and a long rectangle in it. A design universally recognized as a low definition depiction of a cock with a pair of balls.

"You can use the scanner next to the door to check if the codes work correctly. Be careful not to lose your card, someone could use it to enter your room." explained Donna.

K-T picked up the card and walked to the small reader placed under a vertical computer screen. He had seen a lot of them in the hallways earlier, there was one next to nearly every door of the building. While idle they only showed the logo of the university and for some of them the function of the room.

K-T started with the card, he put the code under the laser on the reader and a green light blinked on the side of the screen before showing a full screen picture of him, with only a small banner on top with his name.

"Wait… this is the wrong picture, there's a problem with my card!" he said, trying to put himself in front of the screen to hide it. The picture shown wasn't an ID picture, it was a full body shot with only the part below the knees cut off.

"This is the official picture I received to put in your file. It's the same that is on your card. I can't change it now anyway. I don't have the access to do it." explained the secretary. The first part was true, it was the picture she had received, but the second part was a lie, she actually was the only one who could modify a student profile picture.

K-T was dumbfounded. Raven had sent a full body shot rather than a portrait for his profile picture. He turned the card around and saw that the same picture was printed on the length of it. Having a full body shot wasn't so bad, K-T wasn't exactly ashamed of his body, but Raven had sent one she took from the second shoot she had done. The picture showed him naked, erect, with his balls visible in the gap between his legs.

He really hoped he wouldn't have to use his card too often as it would be humiliating. Just to be sure he scanned his tattoo and discovered that it showed the same profile picture. The only reason he didn't insist more to have the picture changed was that Raven was a complete wild card and had way worse pictures of him that she could send along instead.

"Everything seems to be working alright. Thanks Donna. Come on K-T I'll show you around and we'll go check your room." said Tia, still scribbling notes.

The picture of him was still shown on the screen.

"How long does it take for the picture to disappear on a screen?" he asked.

"It can vary a lot. This one is set on one minute or until someone else uses it, like a lot of them. Some show who is inside of the room, others display the last person to have used it, it's very useful in case of theft or degradation." replied Donna.

Tia showed no sign of being willing to wait for the minute to be over, she grabbed his wrist and dragged him away in the hallway.
