House

The house seemed like a good idea. I could probably get good idea of what I was working with if nothing else.

I didn't have much of a shirt left so I threw on my pants, opened the gate and walked a bit stiffly to the house.

As I opened the door I gagged at the smell of old rotten food emanating from the freezer and fridge. Not wanting to deal with the smell any longer than necessary, I got to work throwing out homemade cheeses, old milk and several types of mouldy fruits.

Once that disgusting mess was dealt with I took an impromptu tour of the house. Besides the kitchen there were 2 bathrooms, three bedrooms, a living room with a massive bookcase and a fairly modern television, and the dining room. The real point of interest was the lab uncle had under the house. All sorts of equipment was organized neatly on the tables. I picked up the slips of paper that were sitting among them.

The first slip was three recipes, one of a fertility ****, a stamina potion of sorts, and a salve made of herbs that caused rapid healing for both internal and external wounds.

The second slip was an interesting read though. It was a quick overview of the job left for me Uncle Fredrick. After a brief greeting, the letter got right to business.

"If you're reading this it means you've already bought a few anthros. I'm sure you've read the guilds guidelines to the creatures in the forest. However there are a few things that I've discovered the guild doesn't explain to you.

The first is that some specific anthros can be attracted to your ranch if you fill out certain requirements. Look on the back of the page for more details.

The second is personal to me so this is for your ears and yours alone. There's a place deep in the wood where the barrier between realms is fairly slim. In effect things from other worlds end up here. I've seen many things come out of it but the dimensional barrier only weakens from monumental events in that world. In effect these "Events" are a way to catch exclusive one of a kind creatures. I remember back in the nineties a yellow electric rodent got shot out of it. She was a fun one I'll tell you what. Anyway the map is on the back of the paper stack. It's somewhere in zone 5 I think.

Final note, there's a spot in town where you can take specific jobs for the guild or other employers. If there's a job within your skill level, they'll give you a pass to distant lands. And if you're lucky they'll let you keep some of the anthros you bag for them.

I flipped over the paper and saw certain anthros that fit my current skill level. I was a level 1 currently but as I got better and upgraded the place I could not only unlock new zones but also conditions for these species to appear. There were only 2 at the moment.

Species: Wisent

The forest buffalo or wisent is usually restricted to the deeper part of the forest. However at a certain age both young females and males are kicked out of the herd. Wisent are herd animals by nature and females are excellent mothers. So showing them that you can defend so many **** females is the way to their heart. Male buffalo at a young age are **** into a subordinate place behind the larger alpha bull.

The only way to tame a male is to have a female wissent. They'll join you as a subordinate if you're male and if you're female, well you will be the submissive one in the relationship due to their patriarchal nature. I recommend making friends with him if you're male as that will prevent the dominance fight that will most assuredly end in your demise. If you're female, you'll be friends by default.

Species: Glacier Bear

If there was ever a bear that could give a grizzly a run for money in fish love it's the glacier bear. This unique variant is rare and sticks to the shadows of rocky peaks. Thanks to their unique blueish grey fur they are prized by collectors.

The most laid back of all male bears, they enjoy days of fishing and eating honey. They actually are considered great companions thanks to their high strength, versatility and general lack of hostility.

Interesting, I wonder where someone could get salmon berries.

When I glanced at my phone, I saw that it was already 7. God this had been a long day. I already wanted to turn in, but I figured I should think about my plans for tomorrow. Maybe I should head into the forest, or see if there are any odd jobs in town.
