Press onwards along the journey

Once they completed washing themselves and resting for a little bit. Orion was satisfied enough with the energy they had accumulated and they quickly gathered their things and resumed their journey. Through the forest they walked, still passing by more uncanny-looking flowers with either huge bulbs or incredibly sharp looking fangs.

Orion and Kalfa led the way. Their eyes very carefully scanned the mystical wildlife around them as they walked. Orion noticed the beating sun bathing them in an intense heat. He slightly frowned because of this. The change of temperature felt too sudden. He turned towards the youngest member of their company.

“Vox? Ya see anything?”

“Ahm...n-no wait! Somethings coming...over there”

Orion followed the direction Vox gestured towards and saw movement amongst the shrubbery. Moments later he saw a very large animal stepping out into the open. One large pale paw at a time.

The group were suddenly alert once they all beheld an incredibly muscular pale furred tiger, with oily golden eyes and blue stripes against its back. The beast was so large that even Orion felt disturbed the more he looked at it. Orion exhaled a forth a cool breath to calm his nerves. Without needing a second warning he stretched one of his iron paws to one side and said.

“Breathe”

An illustrious blue set of runes appeared against his arm and against his grotesque silver armour. Then a sudden gust of wind flashed across the area where his arm was held out. A rush of azure lights magically shaped into a broad silver sword. Once the two handed broad sword had formed, a ghastly thick iron chain appeared around the hilt. Most of the chain wrapped itself around the thick bolstering arms of Orion. The chain was writhing around his arm as though it had a mind of its own.

Orion noticed a short figure approaching him in an effort to join the battle alongside him. But orion held out his hand to halt Kalfa in place. He merely shook his head before dashing forward towards the beast to engage.
