Preparing A Counter-

"Comms check," Reed Richards said. "Status, everyone?"

"Loud and clear," Tony Stark, Iron Man said. "Air division ready."

"We're ready on the ground," Captain America replied.

"Cyber team is ready," Sage of the X-Men said.

"The Loa are with us," Brother Voodoo spoke, as the mystics prepared their ****.

"Our little packages are deployed to Latveria," Nick Fury cut in. "But Richards, you better be right about this..."

"I am confident we can undo the biological programming, once the women are subdued," Reed Richards' voice was cold.

He had been busy, in those past few hours. Contacting friends. Organizing the ****. Even Doctor Doom, who had prepared for some grand gesture on Ricahrds' part, had not noticed the preparations. Did not know how far in advance his old foe had planned for an eventuality just like this. It is true that Reed Richards had not suspected Porkum or his unique abilities...had not expected his wife to whore herself and her fellow heroines out to this bestial prick from some distant parallel world...but he had always suspected, deep in his heart, that his enemies might strike at him through her.

Or that she might cheat on him.

"I don't like being left out of this, Reed," Captain Marvel said.

"From what we've seen, Porkum's abilities specifically target women, Carol," Reed Richards said. "Unless you want to drop in on Latveria, I need you to hold back. Otherwise, you'll just be another cunt for him to fuck."

The channel went dead as the uncharacteristic profanity issued from Mr. Fantastic's mouth. From Avengers Tower, where various other New York-based superheroines had gathered, Carol Danvers killed the channel.

"So...we just wait?" Ms. Marvel said. It was Kamala Khan's 18th birthday. She was happy to spend it with Carol, less happy it was during an emergency that she couldn't participate in. Monica Rambeau, the heroine known as Spectrum, paced by the window.

"I could end this in an instant," she said. "My light-based powers could fry this Porkum before his pheromones had the opportunity to affect me."

"Are you absolutely certain about that?" Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch said. She touched the glass of the window. They could see the Baxter Building from here. The **** would commence within minutes. Everything would happen very quickly, then. "I have dealt with Victor von Doom before. I have been under mind control of different kinds. It is...not something I would wish on anyone. And if Porkum gained control of us, he could cause tremendous damage."

"Yeah," Ms. Marvel said. "He could make you say, 'No more men!' and then, like, all the dudes would disappear and we'd all have to lez out and eat each other's pussies or something."

The other women stared at her. Kamala was young. The young Pakistani-American woman realized she had crossed a line, and looked sheepish, but Carol Danvers looked thoughtful.

"Actually..." she said. "What would happen if Porkum was suddenly female? Would that change his powers? Negate them?"

"If the pheromones are cued to the opposite sex, I suppose he—or she—would attract men instead of women," Spectrum said, a slender hand on her black chin. "Carol, what are you thinking?"

"Maybe there's a way we can still help," Captain Marvel said...and they all looked pointedly at the Scarlet Witch.
