Chapter 1771 by Fiftyfiftyfifty Fiftyfiftyfifty

Sigeberht, the Wizard King of Mirious, and son of an Earthling, had three children of his own--Callisto, Breiah, and Vivilia. He had always been obsessed with the evolution of humanity through magical experimentation, and his daughters were yet another example. Centuries have passed since then, and two of those girls still live to this day.

One of them is far more similar to their father than the others ever were.

Breiah's lunar-white hair touches her shoulders, and the same goes for each pigtail tied neatly on opposing sides of her head by thin black bows. In addition to the aforementioned magic rings, she also wears one coloured obsidian, as well as a gold bracelet on the opposite wrist adorned in many different jewels. Beneath the thigh-length lab coat, she wears a black button-up top, which matches the pencil skirt she wears below. White stockings cling tight to her legs, which eventually lead down to a pair of black flats.

She was the one who first kidnapped both you and William. It was her influence that pushed Elok Daven farther down his path towards Demon King. She's the girl always in the shadows, pulling the strings, with centuries of knowledge beyond the understanding of most. It's possible that nobody alive knows as much about Isekai Theory as her. Though Elok became a talented artificer in his own right, he wouldn't have gotten even close to his goals without Breiah.

And now she's standing right before you, allied with William Cresswell.

You wrap your fingers slowly around the handle of Lauo, but all she does is stare apathetically back at you. It's as if nothing has happened. After the invasion, you wouldn't be wrong to consider her a warmonger, or a terrorist. Despite that, it's just another day for her. That bothers you even more.

"How dare you come even close to Castle Phoenix?" you speak with vitriol in your tone. "And now the two of you are working together? William. You just said you weren't like Elok--"

"I'm not," he interupts. "I said it before, but he was a fool. Careless, with aimless plans of death and destruction. And for what? To stroke his own ego. This woman is special, Kyle. The things she knows, the powers she can grant. If you ever have questions, simply--" Just then, his glasses slip down the bridge of his nose as his eyes cast upwards. He readjusts them with a push of his index finger. "I had a feeling this would happen."

"What--" You turn to see, as well as feel, the unbridled rage of a white-haired witch, souring through the sky on the back of a dragon's head.

It's no ordinary beast, but of stone, first emerging from the ground near the foot of the castle walls until a massive serpent made of the earth is surpasses a hundred feet up in the air. Vivi keeps a firm hold of the back of its head, as well as the brim of her pointed cap while heavy winds nearly send her petite body flying backwards. Her cute witch's garb holds strong, yet does little to hide her orange panties under a skirt that's too short at the best of times. She doesn't seem to care. Her focus is elsewhere.

Her voice rings out. "Breiah!" she screams. "Breiah, you better have a good reason to come here!"

"That's our cue to leave," says William with hands back in the pockets of his coat. "I said I'd leave if trouble came, and I see it arriving imminently. We'll speak again soon, Kyle. Until then, be careful where you roam. Xavex is out there somewhere, and he's going to die, whether it's with your help or not. Don't be so quick to turn down potential allies."

Trin begins to dance, kicking out her legs with a smile upon her face in a playful jig. She sings, "Recall, recall, back to home." She then wiggles her butt. "Teleport, teleport, here we go~!" Then with her flute to her lips, she plays a quick yet beautiful melody, and suddenly their entire group is enveloped in light.

"Hedi, wait!" Niki calls out.

He slips the hood back over his head. "Don't worry, sister. Now you know where to find me."

"But--!"

In a burst of sparkles, they vanish from sight.

All of them except for Breiah.
