Prepare for a journey as night falls.

Despite the traumatic events of the day, you know that staying here would amount to suicide. Even if some mutant gang or cyborg **** squad doesn't visit the place soon, it's possible one of the blockading corps will level the whole area with a precision air strike, once they track down the impact site.

So, knowing what you have to do, you set about searching through the crash site for anything you can use to help you in your journey as the sun sets. Most of the gear you brought with you was destroyed by the impact, but after several hours of work, you manage to recover an emergency survival kit from within the tangled mess of wreckage that was the cockpit. Water purifiers, non-perishable food, a compressed sleeping bag, even a small hand operated flashlight, not that you need it with your enhanced vision. It's not much, but it should be enough to keep you going for a few days.

Once you're packed and strapped with everything useful you can find, you clamber on top of the shuttles mangled frame, getting a tall vantage point from which to look out over the nearby area.

Finally taking in your surroundings, the first thing you notice is the sheer amount of plantlife surrounding you. By luck as much as skill, you managed to bring your aircraft down onto a cleared mountainous ridge within a thick forest, in what must have been an enormous city park before the blockade. On every side, some in the far distance, you can see dilapidated high-rise towers of varying height and states of disrepair, all intertwined with trees and plants growing up their lower extremities. Even the roads you can see at their feet are teeming with foliage, meshed into and twisted around the rusty hulks of abandoned vehicles.
