Alex

- Bio: A neurodivergent adult who is suffering from anxiety, autism, and ADHD. Unable to find work and struggling to make any friends, Alex has always dealt with a feeling of powerlessness throughout his life. All the way from his bullied childhood to his unemployed adulthood. Desperate and insecure about the possibility of being kicked out of the house, Alex took Hera's invitation to be the host of Harem Hotel, unaware of what it meant.
- Civilisation: The real world, you know it. You hate it.

- Franklin: Alex has a younger brother named Franklin. Despite being two years younger than Alex, he is both employed and stable and has a girlfriend, whilst Alex is living with his parents.
- Alex's parents: They have yet to be seen, nor have their names been mentioned. But despite being an adult, Alex is still completely dependent on them, and he's scared they'll kick him out.
Contestants
Ashara

- Bio: Daughter of the Blue Wizard and the champion of the Kingdoms of Laena, Ashara is following a prophecy stating that she is the Kingdoms of Laena's only hope and that she has the chance to defeat the Dark Queen Orbita. She's been trained as a paladin and is also known as a fearsome warrior.
- Civilisation: Kingdoms of Laeana. An alliance of several different kingdoms of several different fantasy races, the Kingdoms come together both for common trade and as a military pact against evil forces. Also known as the Free Peoples, they are known to value valour and courage on the battlefield and have a cosmopolitan and free culture. They joined Harem Hotel to end the war with Malica.

- Blue Wizard: The unofficial leader of the Kingdoms of Laena, the Blue Wizard is known as the wisest strategist in the Kingdoms of Laena and possesses a wealth of magical talent almost equal to Orbita herself. He's also Ashara's father, and she is the only one he's willing to trust with his deepest secrets
- Orbita: Ashara's nemesis. The Dark Queen Orbita has amassed a dark army of all sorts of monsters to devastate the Kingdoms of Laena to achieve world domination. Growing up in this world of conflict, Ashara has made it her life's mission to defeat Orbita once and for all.
Orbita

- Bio: The Dark Queen Orbita is the great enemy of the people of Laena. Cunning, cruel and malevolent, Orbita is a Master of all types of magic and manipulation. She effortlessly forges new creatures like trolls and orcs and corrupts benevolent species into twisted versions of themselves. There are no limits that she will not cross to conquer Laena.
- Civilisation: Malica. Once a barren wasteland, Malica was transformed under Orbita's rule into a thriving industrial juggernaut. Populated by orcs, trolls, dark elves and other dark creatures that Orbita either created or corrupted. Malica is the world's greatest military power and an extension of Orbita's dark will. Malica joined Harem Hotel to gain access to other dimensions to further expand Orbita’s tyranny.
- Transformations: None
Other Relationships:
- Ashara: The daughter of the Blue Wizard who is supposedly destined to defeat Orbita. She is a known enemy of Orbita, but for now Orbita sees her as a mere curiosity.
- Vaelthaea: Orbita’s spymaster and finest servant. Once a cunning wood elf ranger she was corrupted in Orbita’s baths of darkness into Orbita’s finest and most respected servant. She’s the being who's closest to being Orbita’s friend.
Dr Synergy

- Bio: A failed wannabe supervillain and mad scientist, she was arrested just before she was selected to appear in Harem Hotel. Unlike the other contestants, Synergy does not care to win the contest and, in fact, hates the very civilisation she’s a champion of.
- Civilisation: League of Justice, a superhero organisation consisting of thousands of superheroes dedicated to protecting humanity from the danger of supervillains. One day, however, they failed to stop the Cult of Vestra from infecting humanity with a sterility plague. As such, they join Harem Hotel hoping to find a cure.
- Transformations: None
Other relationships:
- Golden Warrior: The world’s greatest hero, able to lift mountains and as pure as an angel. She’s the leader of the League of Justice. Synergy sees herself as Golden Warrior’s arch nemesis. Golden Warrior has no idea who Synergy is.
- Fire Lantern: A new recruit for the League of Justice, he happened to be the superhero responsible for arresting Synergy.
Lady Vanite

- Bio: The matriarch of the Vanite household. Lady Vanite is charismatic, intelligent and ambitious. A skilled politician in the halls of Westminster, she’s a divisive politician in all aspects of British life, but she’s well attuned to navigating political life.
- Civilisation: British Empire. From a timeline in which the age of European Imperialism never ended, the British Empire is the largest, strongest and richest Empire the world has ever seen. Dominating nearly all of the Americas, the bulk of the Pacific, and the entire Middle East, in addition to its historical borders. Yet this rampant imperialism has come with unmitigated pollution, climate change and resource extraction and now the Empire is a paper tiger that has resorted to Harem Hotel to combat the massive climate change.

- Kiona: Lady Vanite’s favourite maid. A woman from the Faroke tribes in America, she’s been forced to find work in the Vanite estate. Lady Vanite is pompous and often unintentionally rude, and yet she is also generous and kind.
- General Elizabeth: Once Lady Vanite’s sister in arms, she proved herself a war criminal, and Lady Vanite made it a point of pride to ensure she was removed from office. Lady Vanite took her sword as a trophy.
Mary Hunt

- Bio: A housewife and mother of three children, Mary is a deeply religious and conservative Christian who has doubled down on her faith to help deal with the stresses of the home front in the war. Deeply protective of her children, especially from wicked influences.
- Civilisation: Christian States of America. Following an alternate history in which FDR was never elected, and America went through a deeply religious period throughout the Great Depression and Second World War. A new Templar secret police was created to terrorise anyone who didn’t toe the Christian party line. Under the leadership of President Reverend Cranston, the United States burned bridges with its own allies and started a war on communism and Satanic religion. Despite a strong start, the Americans have been overwhelmed and, with nuclear weapons never being invented, are now joining Harem Hotel to win the war.

Other relationships
- Kimberly: Mary’s eldest daughter, a bit of a brat but has otherwise adapted well to Mary’s teachings.
- Cadance: Mary’s youngest daughter; she’s the most rebellious of Mary’s daughters and often finds herself at odds with her mother. Mary fears that her youngest daughter will soon end up arrested by the Templars.
- Sam: Mary’s oldest child and only child; he was conscripted to fight in the US Army, and Mary doesn’t know where he is.
- George: Mary’s husband, who volunteered to fight in the US Army, like her son; Mary doesn’t know where he is.
- President Reverend Cranston: The leader of the Christian States of America, an extreme Christian nationalist whose populist rhetoric led to the end of democracy in the United States and start of the Third World War.
Alema Ven

- Bio: An energetic and optimistic student and head cheerleader, Alema is an extrovert and an idealist who wants to be an entertainer. She voted to join Harem Hotel so that she can find out what happened to her sister and father.
- Civilisation: Federal Star States. A utopian Star Trek style society that was formed when a few million slaves escaped the slaver Gestalt Empire to form their own society where freedom and equality will reign. They succeeded and the Federal Star States is a true liberal utopia. However, they were never able to liberate their fellow slaves they left behind and have joined Harem Hotel to liberate them.
Transformations:
- For simplicity’s sake: (World Transformation) Alema's species will now be known as Twileks, and any species in the Federal Star States will identify themselves as the Sci-Fi species they most resemble. (Alien, Freebie)
Other Relationships:
- Vylara: Alema’s mother and a fellow Twilek. She’s sweet, kind and supportive to her children and her husband. A housewife and a painter, she stayed behind on Hutria to raise and look after Alema.
- Mina: Alema’s best friend and fellow cheerleader. The two are opposites, with Mina being anxious and introverted but the two balance each other out.
- Armkana: A noble and wise leader of the Federal Star States, Armkana is a fierce opponent of the Gestalt Empire and known for her benevolent economic policies. She held a referendum on joining Harem Hotel to save the slaves of the Gestalt Empire
- Alema’s father: Not much is known about him yet, apart from the fact that he’s an Orion and that he’s become part of an Underground Railroad with his daughter to smuggle slaves from the Gestalt Empire to freedom. He has since disappeared.
- Tema Ven: Alema’s sister and her hero; she joined their father as part of an Underground Railroad to smuggle slaves from the Gestalt Empire. She has since disappeared.

Hera The Great, the Fabulous, the Unbelievably Sexy, Hera!

- Bio: Host of Harem Hotel Civilisation edition, she’s a vain egomaniac who’s eager to push Alex to embracing the corruption she’s offering him. Cruel and all-powerful, Hera is a terrifying force.
- Civilisation: Harem Hotel. You know it, you love it.
