You had been practising with Helen for weeks. Helen was not the fastest, especially in the tight turns but this helped you keep your grip and use your skater skills to weave around the cones. You hoped that a good time with no penalties would be better than a fast time with penalties for mistakes. You also knew you had no chance at the bonus point but hoped to brake someone’s chance at it, forcing them to try harder and hopefully mistake.
