Practice Whilst Waiting

"i think I will try my new abilities whilst I wait for you to compile a list for me." Samus said to the A.I.

"Very well Samus. If you proceed to the door to your right, you find adequate room try out your upgrade, you can climb the walls and spin webs in your current form."

"Thank you." Samus reasponded. "let's see what I can do." Samus entered the large hall and starred into it. "This place is huge." Slowly, she walked in, looking at the large room in awe at its size. She noticed that it's oddly shaped, with nodules that jutted out from place to place. After a short time Samus started to eye the nodules. "These would be a good place to attached web ends to." Samus turned and touched the nodule closest to her with her spinner end. When she done so, Samus gave it a good tug to see if she had attached it properly.

It stuck in place. Slowly after she was satisfied it would hold, she climbed carefully upwards. As she got used to the sensation of avoiding gravity, she started to climb faster. Attaching the web to the next nodule. Samus turned and looked at what she had acheived. "Oh my God. This so fucking awesome. Okay, lets try and actually make a whole web." Samus proceeded to attach more webs to each nodule in turn. After forming the base line for the main structure, Samus stepped away to look at what was slowly turning into a full web. "Wow. This is unbelievable." She returned to finish the web off.

When finished, It was time to admire her handy work. Walking over to a clear part of the room, she turned, with a wince in her eye in case she didn't do as well as she thought. Much to her pleasure though, it looked better than she hoped. "Okay, spiders can resist the stickiness of their own webs. Computer, I need something to throw at my web." A small hatch opened in the nearby wall. and Samus picked up the small but heavy packet from the platform that emerged.

Samus threw the item and it stuck to web. She then started to climb her own web with no problem and placed her palm on the packet. "Brilliant. What a way to catch some space pirates or any low life scum I come across. Computer. Is there anything on board that I can use for live testing?"

"Affirmitve. There is an entire legion of androids onboard that have limited intelligence that are supposed to be used for target practice. They move like normal humans."

"That would be perfect. Activate one so I can see if I can can capture it please." With in seconds, one of the androids appeared behind her. Its task. To get to the other end of the room through Samus's web. The android run, closing in on the web fast. As it grew closer, Samus moved to the centre of her web. Waiting, as the android grew closer. When it hit, it's arm got caught dragged it back, preventing it from escaping to quickly. Samus quickly pounced on the android and pulled it up towards the centre. Immediatley she began to spin a web around the android, encesing it in silk until it no longer moved. "This is gonna be worth the extra reward for capturing fugitives alive." She thought as she pondered the possibilities.
