"What kind of magic and skills does Kurdes have?" I ask the Devil of Temptation.

"I only know of a few. He obviously has the ability to create Devils. But he can also control shadows. He can sink into them and move between them. He can even use them to attack. I know he has more but I don't know what. I've just heard from Glass and Strength, who are the only two who were around before he was sealed. They told me that he once destroyed a small village without using any shadows but I never asked how." The Devil of Temptation answers and I sigh.

"Better than nothing. So what's your question?"

"How many schools of magic can you use?"

"I'm pretty sure I can use them all. If I get the Spellbook or just spend some time sitting around and thinking about it, I can learn some of its spells or skills. So then what Devils, aside from you, are left alive?"

"Aside from me, there's Strength, Glass, Seduction, Fear, and Spacial."

"Only five? I thought there'd be more." I say surprised.

"Kurdes wants more but he has to give a part of himself to make a Devil. The more he gives the stronger they are. So he can't yet, well he could now that Golden is dead." He says bitterly. "So, what would it take for you to join us?" He asks and catches me by surprise.

"Are you sure you want me to join you?"

"It's possible, you'll have to prove yourself by cutting ties with Gaia and releasing Kurdes. So what's the price?"

"Nothing." I say with a smile.

"Impossible, if there's one thing I've learned, it's that everyone has a price."

"Oh I do have a price, it's just that you can't pay it." I say and the Devil sighs.

"Is that so."

"Yep, so how do I kill Kurdes?" I ask and the Devil looks at me shocked before smiling widely.

"You have to break him free. You see the seal is in now prevents us from interacting with him. It allows him to interact with humans, since they have no mana but any Lyna or other creatures with mana can't interact with him. So in order to kill him you need to destroy the seal. Then his soul will remake his body, he's already gathered the mana. You see, when a God dies his soul remains. Normally it would be lost in the natural flow of mana until they gathered enough mana to remake their body. But his has been gathering it in the seal ever since it happened. So the moment the seal is broken he'll remake his body. Then you'd have to kill him, causing his soul to be released again. This time he wouldn't have enough power to remake his body. So you'd then have to destroy his soul and he'll die."

"Why can't things just be simple." I say jokingly with a smile.

"What's the fun in that? Now then, do you know sealing magic?"

"Nope, I don't and am not planning on learning it either."

"Is that so." He says sinisterly.

"Yep, so then if the Devil of Strength had a combat power of 100, what would you say the others are at?"

"Hmm, I'd say I'm at 19, Seduction would be 31, Glass would be 77, Spacial would be 172 and Fear can't be classified."

"Really now, well what's your question."

"What are you?"

"I'm Half-Devil Half-Mythos." I answer and he puts his hand against his ear. Good, they can't the word Mythos. I should end it here, I can't let them learn what I am yet. I think before standing up.

"Well, this has been interesting. I've learned quite a bit. I'll catch you later." I say walking over to the door when the Devil shouts.

"WAIT! Kurdes wishes to speak with you." He says and I turn back.

"What?"

"Kurdes can speak through the Devils thanks to our connection. But he'll just be using my vocal cords. It'll still be me speaking, think of it like this. Normally he talks to us like we're always on the phone. But what I'm about to do is put it on speaker. And don't worry, the Curse of Truth will still be active. So he won't be able to lie. Or cast any magic with these." He says while lifting his cuffs and I think about it. Talking to Kurdes could be good. But I've already learned what I wanted. If we talk he could learn about Mythos. But, I could learn something about him. My thoughts are interrupted by the doorknob behind me turning. Sugano opens it and pulls me out.

"Don't tell me you're considering it?" I hear Liz ask as soon as the door closes.

"No, I'm not considering it. I'm doing it." I say before Blinking into the room. I cast Draconic Ice on the door to make sure they don't enter.

"They don't approve?" The Devil asks knowing the answer.

"Nope, I'm in for an earful later. So go ahead and put him on speaker." I say and Temptation laughs before closing his eyes. I sit back down and a moment later Temptation's dark red horns turn into shadows. It's pure darkness but I can see light inside the horns. Looking at them hurts my eyes and I see Temptation open his eyes. They're no longer the red from before. Now they're the same shadows from his horns.

"Hello Eric." He says and I notice his voice is deeper and more malicious.

"You wanted to chat?" I say with a smile like we've known each other for a while. Which isn't inaccurate, we've known of each other but never met.

"Yes, I wanted to deliver a message personally."

"Oh, well don't keep me waiting." I say and he laughs.

"Eric, if you don't unseal me of your own accord then I'll have the rest of my Devils kill those girls you seem fond of." He says and I feel my Draconic Rage activate. This time, however, I don't get a message. I assume it's because I'm not in combat. "I'm impressed Eric your Draconic Rage activated, and at a pretty high level too, but you're still able to keep your cool. You must care for them huh?"

"Yep, so I guess I don't have a choice. I'll just have to kill all the Devils first." I say and he laughs.

"You truly believe you can?"

"Of course. I'm still under the Curse of Truth after all. So, Kurdes, go ahead and send whatever your Devils have at me. I'll cut them all down the same way I did your Goldie boy." I say with a smile and he looks at me, with a bit of anger in his eyes.

"If you think you can do something that you're parents couldn't do even with a Goddess on their side then your a bigger fool than I thought." He says and I start laughing.

"I know I can. Because I have my own guild, and we will kill you." I say looking him straight in the eyes while taking my horns, wings, claws, boots, and hairpin out.

"Then bring it, let's see your small, puny guild struggle against the army my Devils have prepared for me." He says and I nod before turning around and grabbing the still-frozen door. I pull on it as hard as I can and tear it off the wall. I drop it to my side and turn down the hall.
