Power(less) wash

"No. I am not gonna do that!" Lexi huffed as she shook her head and added the detergent and fabric softener to the washer, "I'll just wait for my underwear to dry while I wait for my clothes to wash."

"Wait, so then how did you lose your underwear if you never took them off?" Katie asked.

Lexi sighed and blushed. "I never said I didn't..."

Just before Lexi was about to start the washer, the young woman turned and sat down in a nearby chair, cringing slightly from her wet undergarments pressing against her skin. After a few seconds, Lexi grew cold from the waterlogged bra and panties combined with the air conditioning in the empty laundromat. After a few minutes, the coldness turned to discomfort.

Lexi sighed, the woman looking around. The laundromat was empty apart from her. Not even any employees. "I can't believe I'm considering this." She groaned, "Maybe if I'm careful..."

Standing back up, Lexi took another look around before shakily reaching behind her back and undid her bra. Slipping the wet garment off, Lexi walked over to the washer and placed it inside. Giving one last look around, Lexi hooked her thumbs into the waistband of her panties and slid them down her legs, stepping out of them and throwing them into the washer. Closing the lid of the machine, Lexi turned the washer on before sitting back in the chair and waited.

"Okay, I'm seeing two different ways this went wrong..." Jeff began, "Did someone come in and chase you out?"

"I wish!"

Lexi was reading a magazine while waiting for her clothes, flipping through the pages. Just as Lexi found an interesting article...

*BZZZZT!*

The entire building went dark as Lexi dropped the magazine in surprise. The lights went out, the air conditioning shut down, but worst of all the washer came to a stop.

"Oh no, no, no, no!" Lexi panicked as she ran up to the washer, desperately trying to open the lid. Unfortunately, it wouldn't open. "Oh my God, no!"
