Possibly so...

Keeping still, you barely breath after witnessing the sight of these magnificent creatures. They are beautiful. Strong. And yet part of you still wants to run from them, because of their predatory appearance.
It takes, all the nerve you have, just to continue down this path. You remind yourself, the reason you had headed in this direction in the first place, was it seemed a better option compared to that of wandering about the desert on your own. You see, these people at least seem to be the type who are survivors. They probably have lived here in the desert for a while, and know a thing or two about where to find resources. Or maybe, if you're lucky, will even provide for you for a day or two.
You lick your lips, at this enticing idea. You recognize from a now growling stomach, how hungry you are. And you can smell, as you try to keep the sun to your back and your movements upwind of the camp, the scent of meats roasting. An aroma that only draws you closer, as you enter past the buckskin walls of the encampment. Each footfall, now taking you closer and closer to a roaring bonfire in the center of the village. A place where many are gathered, for numerous and various reasons.
