How does Brittany react to their story?
Poorly
Evelyn had just finished telling Brittany about the magical game when the front door burst open and a soaked and shivering Florence stormed in. Florence appeared momentarily shocked at the sight of them, but her only response was to cover her chest with her hands and rushed past them up the stairs.
"That girl...her ears..." Brittany said slowly.
"Yeah, it's-"
"Hardcore dedication. Wow. She's a cosplayer? She's your girlfriend, you were always into that kind of stuff." Brittany said coldly.
"No. She's just a friend. And not a cosplayer, those are her real ears!" Evelyn said.
Daniel shook his head. It was clear Brittany wasn't about to believe anything Evelyn said. He had to step in. He pointed at his hair, "Look, I'm blonde right? That means I can't lie."
"Duh, everyone knows that." Brittany said.
Daniel smiled. Maybe the rules would help here, "Ok. So I'm not lying when I said that everything Evelyn has said is true."
Brittany didn't buy it, "Just because you suffer the same delusions doesn't mean it's true."
"Whatever. Why are we even trying to convince her? Just let her fuck off. The game will punish her, not us." Evelyn said.
Daniel sighed. She was probably right, but he couldn't just leave Brittany to that fate. He didn't know why the game had summoned her of all people, there was clearly some history between these two, but it certainly wasn't her fault. She didn't deserve to suffer because they weren't willing to take the steps necessary to convince her.
"I have an idea," Daniel hurried ot the living room and found what he was looking for. He picked it up and brought it back, "This is a bottle of X-Change. Apparently taking this pill will temporarily change your gender. Take it and you'll know we're telling the truth."
"Fuck off, as if I'd take something from people who abducted me." Brittany scoffed.
Daniel sighed. Of course she wouldn't. He glanced at Evelyn, but he knew he'd get nowhere with her. She didn't care about Brittany. If someone was going to do it, it would have to be him. He popped a pill in his mouth and swallowed.
The change wasn't instantaneous. He felt his body shifting, remaking itself from the inside out. His organs rearranged, his dick vanished, breasts grew from his chest. He was a little surprised that he didn't shrink, but he supposed the game kept the madlib to be true. Although he wondered about his 10x more cum, how would that work now?
A minute later and the transformation was finished. He couldn't see the full picture, but the strange weight on his chest was enough to convince him it was real. He held a hand out in front of him and was shocked by how foreign it looked. So thin and dainty, he couldn't believe this was really him.
"Ho-ly shit..." Brittany was staring at him, "Ok...that was...ok. There's got to be some trick..."

"No trick," Daniel was confused by his own voice, but he powered through, "You can try it yourself if you aren't convinced yet."
"N-no. I..." Brittany looked back and forth between them, "I..."
Without another word she turned and fled. Daniel went to go after her but Evelyn caught him arm, "Let her go. She needs time to process."
"Yeah but..." Daniel knew she didn't even believe they were in Halifax. What if she got hurt?
"She'll be ok. This is a safe area." Evelyn said, "And if you chase her she'll be more terrified."
"Well....argh. Fine." Daniel knew there was some truth to it, "I can't believe that didn't work though."
"It did," Evelyn said, "Give her time. But dude...how are you going to turn back?"
Daniel actually knew that already. The pill bottle had said X-Change Challenge, and now he knew why. As soon as he'd finished shifting he felt the answer enter his mind. All he had to do was complete his challenge and he'd be back to normal. Unfortunately the challenge would be easier said than done.
"I have to..." Daniel gulped, "I have to be asked out on a date by a non-player and then go on that date and be invited back to their place."
"Wait, seriously?"
"Seriously. I don't have to accept. Just get the invite. You know I can't lie." Daniel said. As a man he had plenty of confidence, but now? As a woman? And a 6 foot 6 woman at that? He groaned loudly, "I'm going to bed...wake me if you need help with Brittany."
"Sure thing boss." Evelyn said sarcastically. She waited around for a few minutes, then went upstairs to join Florence in bed.
Mateo knocked on Noah's door. After a moment it opened, "Morning bro!" Mateo said with a grin.
Noah looked tired, he obviously hadn't slept well. "Dude...it's...oh wait. It's 10? Fuck!"
"Ya man, I've been waited ages for you to wake up but decided to just come see you myself. Want to go sightseeing with me?"
Noah raised an eyebrow, "You mean you want someone to drive you places?"
"Oh you!" Mateo said with a grin.
"Where do you want to go exactly?"
"Just downtown. It's not far." Mateo answered.
"If it's not far why didn't you just take a taxi?"
"Cause I didn't want to go alone obviously," Noah raised an eyebrow and Mateo shrugged, "And Daniel, Evelyn and Florence are M.I.A. Please come with me? I promise to buy you a souvenir if you drive me!"
Noah let out a laugh, "Sure. I'll hold you to that. Let's go."
A short drive later found them downtown. Even that short drive had shown them a remarkable change in the way the world worked now. Since all car owners obeyed all traffic laws everyone went under the speed limit, nobody ever cut them off, nobody tried to run a red. It was quite pleasant, and it was a beautiful aday too. With no particular destination in mind they found a place to park and started walking around.
They darted in and out of shops, Mateo buying all kinds of stuffed animals, candy and toys.
"How are you going to get that in your suitcase?" Noah wondered.
"I'll just buy another. No big deal. Oh, there's one more place I wanted to go to. The citadel."
"Uh sure, that's that." Noah asked.
"Did you really come here without knowing anything? It's an old British Fort. Follow me. It's just up this little hill."
15 minutes later Noah was sweating. He wiped his brow, "I think you and I have a different definition of little."
Mateo was panting. He wasn't used much physical activity, and the game had made him weaker. "I'll pay for gas if you carry me up."
"Fat chance."
"I'll give you some bead necklaces." Mateo countered.
Noah laughed," Dude, I'm not carrying you."
Eventually though they made it. They paid admission and started walking around. After a few minutes Noah froze. Mateo looked over at him, "Dude...what..." He followed his gaze and saw he was staring at a woman. "Oh ya, she's hot."
"And into me..." Noah said quietly.
"Huh?" Mateo asked.
Noah sighed, "Bionic eye. It tells me how attractive people find me. She's 90/100. I thought the pink hair would hurt my chances but..."
"Oh. Well, go talk to her."
Noah hesitated, then mustered up the courage. He walked over to her, "Hi, it's a beautiful day isn't it?"
Noah's smile faltered as he saw the numbers tumble downwards. She screwed up her face, "What's wrong with your voice?"
"I...I..." Noah had no good reply to that.
"Leave me alone." She turned to walk away from him.
Mateo suddenly ran over, "Excuse me miss? Would you like a necklace?"
She immediately pulled up her shirt, "Yes please!"

"Here you go." Mateo handed the necklace over.
"Thanks!" She took it and lowered her shirt. Then confusion settled over her face. She looked at the necklace, then at Mateo, then turned and fled.
"Dude..." Noah said.
"What? She was being a bitch, but now you've seen her tits."
"...I don't agree with your methods but...thanks for having my back."
"Anytime bro, now let's go find you a souvenir. I did promise after all.
Florence watched Noah and Mateo drive away. With a sigh of relief she sat back on her bed. She was finally alone. As an introvert she was feeling the effects of spending so much time with other people, and was looking forward to just being by herself. She'd used the excuse that she wasn't comfortable going out with her eyes, which was true, but also a major problem. What WAS she going to do?
Well nothing about her eyes for now. On her agenda for the day? Find the costume room. Bake cookies for everyone. Read 50 Shades Darker. She couldn't believe she'd read the 1st book 50 times without trying the rest of the trilogy after all.
"Dude, relax. Getting a date is going to be so easy." Evelyn said.
"Easy. Right. And would you be relaxed if you had to do on a date with a man?" Daniel asked.
"No, but we've been over this. Lesbian dating is harder. We just put you in something low cut, take a few photo, make a Tinder profile, write that you are DTF and bingo. Date." Evelyn said confidently.
"Ya, that's the part that gets me."
"Oh come on, let's just do this." Evelyn pushed him into the store and started picking out options. Daniel had no idea what would look good on him, so he left everything up to Evelyn. His height made things awkward, it was difficult to find anything to fit. After more than an hour of shopping he finally had an outfit Evelyn considered sufficiently slutty that Daniel didn't refuse to put on.
He left the photo and the Tinder profile up to Evelyn. He didn't even want to know.
Whatever she wrote, she got results. "Ok, you got a date. 15 minutes at a coffee shop nearby."
"What? No way. It's..." Daniel gulped, "Oh man. He's going to be a huge asshole, isn't he?"
"Guaranteed." Evelyn said, "But he's going to want to fuck you so it's a win. Don't worry, that's why I picked a public location."
Daniel sighed, but dutifully went to the coffee shop. He didn't have to wonder about who his date was, a man gasped and looked up at him, "Wow you are smoking! I'm Chad!"
Daniel cringed, then wiped his expression clean, "Hi Chad I'm Dan..iela."
"I ordered for you already. A chick drink, here." Chad offered the cup to Daniel. Daniel was immediately offended, but didn't say anything. Chad probably thought he was being nice, but whatever. They sat down and Chad started talking about his shoe collection. Daniel's eyes practically glazed over as Chad talked, offering only perfunctory comments in response.
After a while Chad sat back and smiled, "I think this is going pretty well. Do you want to come back to my place and get to know be even better?"
Unlike the first change, this time it was instant. One second he was female, the next he was male. His date shrieked, a rather feminine shriek if Daniel did say so himself. "W-what the fuck?"

Daniel felt rather awkward to be sitting here in a dress, but he supposed at least he was back to normal, "Sorry dude. Better luck next time," He pushed back and stood up, "Oh and if you really want to date a girl, try listening instead of just talking the whole time."
Daniel moved to leave but Chad stopped him, "You prick. I'm going to kill you." He brought back his fist and went to punch Daniel. Out of reflex Daniel threw his arm forward, hitting Chad and sending him flying across the room.
The entire cafe went silent. Daniel couldn't believe it. With just an errant swing of his arm he'd sent a fully grown man flying. He quickly walked over to the counter, "So sorry about all that," He pulled out some cash from his wallet, "Here. That sound cover the broken dishes." He laid a few hundred dollars down, "Again, quite sorry."
Then he rushed out of there as fast as he could.
Brittany couldn't believe it. She really was in Halifax. How did it happen? It wasn't possible. Magic wasn't real. Except...
After fleeing the mansion last night she'd called her friend Carly. She didn't know if she should go to the police so she wanted to bounce what had happened off her, but Carly was confused. Carly told her that Brittany had planned this trip to Halifax. That she'd left this morning.
A quick check of her email found the confirmation of her flight. She couldn't go to the police, they'd think she was crazy. Instead she took an Uber to a hotel and checked in. When morning came and she was still in Halifax she'd tried to think of some other explanation, but nothing came to mind. It HAD to be magic. After all that guy turning into a woman, the woman with elf ears, even Evelyn suddenly having tits, none of it made sense without magic.
Eventually she distracted herself by shopping, her favourite thing to do. After spending the entirety of her monthly allowance, she sat down on a bench on the waterfront and stared out on the ocean. She knew she had to accept reality. Magic was real. She had been teleported across the country to play some magic game. If she didn't participate, bad things would happen.
Despite the bad blood between her and Evelyn, she could tell she wasn't lying about this stuff. Even if she didn't believe Evelyn, that man/woman was blonde, there was no way they were lying. She wasn't she what the 'bad things' were, but she knew deep down she couldn't avoid it.
She stayed out the rest of the day, unwilling to rush towards her fate, but as the sun started to get low in the sky she summoned an Uber. She was going back to the mansion.
