Pool Hall (Enter)

Adam enters the Pool Hall. Dumb name but definitely is what it is. Pool tables for as far as you can see. A very popular place. All the tables are taken save for one. But it might be. There is a redhead leaning against it. The balls are already racked up. You head on over to the table.

"This table taken? Or is it an open game?" You ask her.

She looks up at you. She is short. Around 4'10" at most. Freckles on her cute face. But it's her voice when she answers. Kinda a mix of pixie and sultry. "Open game. Nobody is free to play against me. Most think I am a shark or something."

You laugh and put your bag on the table so you can assemble your personal cue stick. "Well I came to play pool. But I don't play without stakes. You in?"

She laughs. "Name your stakes"

"Twenty dollars a ball. Shots called."

"Deal"

First game is fast. She lost the cointoss to determine break, and you ARE a shark. She never even got a shot in.

"No fair! You're a pool shark and I never got a shot. Next game I break. And it's gonna be fourty a ball."

"Deal"

Second game is almost just as fast as the first. She almost cleans out, but misses the 8 ball. You drop all your balls in your called pocket. But the 8 ball illudes you as well.

"Let's make this more interesting." You say.

"How so?"

"The one that sinks the 8 ball gets ownership of the loser for the rest of the night."

"That sounds a bit out of my league. But deal."

When you shake on it, you feel a slight sting. You hasn't noticed a diamond ring she had turned inwards. It cut your hand and a drop of blood spilled out, but healed fast.

"I end every deal agreement in blood. Hope you don't mind."

You don't think much on it. But it is your shot.
