Chapter 1379 by Fiftyfiftyfifty Fiftyfiftyfifty

What do you do?

Ponder in your chambers.

You lay back on your bed--one even beyond the size of king--and stare towards the ceiling as the soft cloud of comfort envelopes your body. The image of Lady Nyllia Tesgella's perfect, glistening figure permeates your mind, as well as all others within Castle Phoenix. There are more kind, beautiful, confident, and powerful women here than most people would meet in their entire lives. Despite the diversity of personalities, races, shapes, and sizes, everyone has come together to form an unwavering alliance. And it's all under the banner of Demon King Kyle Warren, a knight of Tivera turned wanted criminal. You wonder if that title will be necessary for much longer. As cool as it sounds, you would like to once again be able to traverse the Empire without needing to hide from the guards.

First, there was Niki of clan Vakila. While frustratingly reckless to work with at first, she's become one of the closest to you. She's a dark-skinned tomboy with short hair, so you wonder how the Internet would react if you ever brought her home to Earth. Though she may be a wild card, she's grown to be so incredibly powerful that you reckon she could beat anyone and anything in a fight if the outcome was determined by strength. A castle could likely fall on her at this point and she'd survive. While she may look more like a barbarian, she's the best tank a party could have, when she's actually paying attention to what's important.

Eva Beela was the second party member you originally recruited, and she was certainly one of the most hopeless. She can be a scatterbrain, she overreacts to most situations, and despite her noble heritage, she could compete with Niki for more likely to say something inappropriate. Still, she's a talented mage with a powerful drive, and she's adorable bunny girl as well, which of course is a fantastic trait on its own. With her strange bloodline revealed as well, there's no telling what sort of future she could pave for herself. While this pale-lavender-haired girl may be in complete denial about her desires, she's certainly not in denial about her loyalty.

To complete your original adventuring party, you recruited Amara Tedrilui. She's always been noticeably different on the exterior when compared to the other two girls of the group, in that she's quiet, composed, and calm--Eva and Niki being exact opposite to all three. That doesn't mean she was any less hopeless, however. Everyone is in their own way. Driven by the aspiration to be the sort of woman her mother is, Amara wishes to help those in need. She's a golden-haired elf who is incredibly affectionate, and also seems the most willing to share you with everybody else. While her rare mutation causes her to indulge in her own desires even when it's inappropriate, she's always there to make you smile.

One might say Snow is the unofficial fifth member of your party. She's is a versatile rogue, skilled with both sword and bow, and without her you may have not even defeated Demon King Sa'dis. She acts rather serious most of the time, though not in a stick-in-the-mud sort of way. She just considers herself a dedicated, loyal servant to whomever she swears fealty. First it was Mistress Dajy for saving her life, and now it's you. This white-haired cat girl ninja actually very sweet. She just doesn't know how to properly express her emotions, which seems to be a reoccurring theme amongst those you meet.

It's been said many times before, but Lady Nyllia Tesgella is a hero all within Tivera recognize, from her silver armour to her long pink hair. She's the symbol of both righteousness and grace. While not the only mighty adventurer around, she's certainly one of the most famous, and has faithfully served the Empire for many years. To many, she's the perfect combination of strength and beauty, both of body and mind, though if one were **** to act stoic and proper for long enough, they would likely always yearn for something more. At first, she was the elven hero you wanted to either recruit or be like yourself, so now that she's not only living with you, but you've recently make passionate love with her, you can hardly believe your reality.

You met Fang far before she joined you. She roamed the streets of Avana in a gang of vigilantes called Claw Patrol. The first time you ran into one another, she threw her fingers rather lustfully into the body of Niki. She's certainly the most down-horrendous member of Castle Phoenix, and over time, she's held back her words less and less. This pink-haired cat practically drools over the other girls of Castle Phoenix, though it's difficult for one to blame her. She considers herself a hero, though in a different way than Rabbit's Foot does. She doesn't wish to do it for fame or fortune, preferring to prowl in the shadow of the streets, despite her powerful personality.

Lalarin Relestel, also known as the lucky heroine Rabbit's Foot, doesn't do what she does for fame, but believes the people need a hero who can serve as a symbol for justice. When garbed in her emerald spandex, she keeps the world safe as a super heroine who seems to have escaped the pages of an Earthen comic book, but in reality, Lalarin is a noble's daughter and a gorgeous bunny brunette. She cares not for her family, however. She's since abandoned them all together and instead has found a new family in Castle Phoenix.

When Yin first left her previous master, Flame General Ithic, to serve you instead, you weren't certain how to react to her actions. She seemed so cute and innocent, and you hadn't quite become so intimate with the girls as you are now. Of course, you're now aware she's a freaky little sub, but she's also a loyal and brave girl as well, who would do anything to keep all within Castle Phoenix safe from harm. When you first found Lord Barkis' tower, you expressed interest in having a maid just like him, but instead of a cat girl, you ended up with a devil--red skin, deep crimson hair, horns, spaded tail. Surely that's even better.

Peony is a unique case, though that's somewhat true for perhaps everybody here. She's a dryad, which is a being of pure nature--one who can not only stride through trees as if they were doorways, but is also unable to live far away from them. Apparently if you give a dryad a name, it's effectively their version of marriage. Now you live with a beautiful woman of leaves and flowers who desires to bring life and colour to Castle Phoenix, and to faithfully serve the one she loves the most.

Though it was only just stated about Peony, one could definitely argue Alice is the most unique of all those within Castle Phoenix. She isn't the only of her kind, but her and the rest were crafted by the evil Elok Daven. For one reason or another, Alice is the only one who was separated from the rest and refuses to serve him. It's unknown if the others have the sentient to rebel or not. Either way, she's a doll-like magical android who can not only separate into pieces but has an arcane cannon in her arm. She has pale, wood-like skin, dark green hair, and a magical cyan glow in her eyes. The poor girl often suffers from an identity crisis, but one can't blame her for that.

Pixies are mischievous creatures, but it isn't often one would come across one clad in deep purple with long, black hair--devious, gothic, and dominant. Delphi was an experiment by Elok Daven and Breiah much like yourself. They turned you into a Demon King, while she was dubbed a Dark Fairy. She's a crude yet fun-loving woman who speaks her mind much more boldly than most of the others. While she's certainly been made embarrassed before, she seems one of the least likely to succumb to such a reaction. She's a combination of graceful beauty and rebellious punk.

Vivilia has a tale older than any who live in Castle Phoenix. Five centuries ago, Sigeberht, the Wizard King of Mirious and the spawn of an Earthling, sired three pale, white-haired daughters with Lady Carreen--Callisto, Breiah, and Vivilia. All three were an experiment of magical genetic tampering. Now Vivi still lives, even after all those years, and one of her sisters stands proudly beside your arch nemesis. Tragic backstory aside, Vivi is a mischievous little witch you first met living as a hermit in the Deeproot Forest. After having not interacted with other people in so long, she was certainly a bit stranger back then, but you unintentionally shook her awake. After your meeting, she sought you out, as she once again wished to form connections with others.

You know about five types of insectrin so far, though there may be more: Bombus (bee), bombyx (moth), formica (ant), mantidae (mantis), and eratigena (spider). Spiders aren't insects, but you don't think Demon King Muian cared about that. Luna is the first insectrin you met, and she's a beautiful moth indeed. With cloud-like hair, with the same fur around her wrists and ankles, she's one of the softest girls you've ever held in your arms. While not a noble and certainly without an ego, she may be the most fashionable person in Castle Phoenix, as she's an incredible seamstress with a keen eye for style. Back in Avana, people ignored her shop due to being creeped out by what she was. She may leave a dusty powder wherever she goes, but she's a sweet and passionate woman who has flourished now that you've given her a place to work.

Laira Holland is one of the few actual humans you've befriended. In some ways, she's perhaps the most ordinary--a country gal just trying to work her hardest. Whether she realizes it or not, however, she's a drop-dead gorgeous ginger-haired gal, exceptionally talented craftswoman, who claims to wear only overalls with no shirt beneath because of how sweaty and hot she gets while working the forge, though at this point, you can't be bothered to question these things anymore. If it wasn't for her, you wouldn't have had the weapon to stop Demon King Sa'dis. You love to have a skilled smithy around, and she adores having the challenge of crafting such amazing things, so it's a perfect relationship.

Sometimes, slimes absorb enough magic to where they evolve into developing a human-like intelligence. These slime girls may not be common, but they aren't overwhelmingly rare either. They have varying personalities and levels of understanding, but they inevitably reach the mental potential of an adult human being eventually. Jelly is one you found and named yourself, deep in a cave a distance from the city Althudiyu in the Oraang Desert. Things were strange at first, as she was even more cute and innocent than Yin, but she clearly had an understanding of everything around her even if she was still figuring out how the world worked. Though over time, with a combination of a slime girl's natural evolution and education from Mela, she's become just like anyone else. Well, besides the fact that she can melt down into puddle at-will and shape her body however she sees fit. She acts more mischievous now, and while sometimes it's difficult to tell whether or not she's doing it on purpose, you can tell that she certainly is. With all this new knowledge of the world, she seems to have fun playing around with everything.

Succubi are demons, though not all which spawns from such a dark other world turns out to be evil. Some are and some aren't, just like anything else, though succubi are certainly one of the more common to not be mindless beasts due to their higher levels of intelligence. Unlike gremlins, these demons are more like people--overwhelmingly gorgeous people with an unmatched sex drive. Mistress Dajy is not only this, but a high succubus, which is to say she's beyond even others of her kind. High succubi form harems of others, though to what goal depends on the individual. Because of all you've done, Dajy swore herself to you, though you were concerned at first what her intentions were. She's calmed down quite a bit over time--gradually shifting more towards the alignment of good. Still, she's an imposing, absolutely stunning woman with long, white hair, and a wingspan so wide that while extended she appears as much like a Demon King as you may. Any normal man could not survive an encounter with her, so that shows something about the strengths you've developed.

Four succubi form Mistress Dajy's harem: Klava, Raleza, Brizi, and Vodrani. Firstly, Klava is a redhead who is more likely to speak up compared to the others, and has the power to manipulate mana with her tongue. Raleza has purple hair, and while more quiet, she's certainly not shy, and she actually gains power the more she's sexually denied. Brizi is a spunky blonde who is far more dominant than her appearance may suggest, as she actually becomes more powerful the more she sexually denies someone else. Lastly, Vodrani seems to focus most on strength as well as defending the rest of the harem, and from what you can tell, she's taken quite the liking to Tom.

Speaking of which, Thomas Whitham is one of the few guy friends you've made in Abso. He's a simple man with short brown hair and skill with a bow and blade. While he may not be able to match you when it comes to strength or luck with the ladies, he always tries his best, and perhaps his drive has finally paid off. Not only did he spend some time with the succubi of Dajy's harem, but it seems Vodrani has claimed him as her own. You originally rescued him and his scout partner Rinlin from a lich. While she went off to do her own thing, he stayed to serve you as both a warrior and a friend.

Unlike the other succubi, Linzeri is not part of Dajy's harem. She's a lone wolf, especially in personality. She's always gone her own way, though she still seems to serve under you in her own, vague manner. She reminds you of Dajy in certain ways, and not just because they have the same coloured hair, though her body isn't as physically imposing, and she certainly speaks with less energy. She's still a succubus, however, and is just as effective as bringing people to their knees.

When a noble's ball went sour all that time ago, there was one party-goer who was more than eager to help you cause further trouble. Bekram Kholrann is an armoured dwarf with brown hair and a braided beard, as well as a penchant for combat and chaos. He desires only to test his mettle. After all you've done, he wouldn't leave Castle Phoenix for any reason. Things are too fun around here, and you're always facing some new, crazy challenge. His dedication to the craft of combat is admirable.

Bill & Phil are two twin brothers who would be extremely difficult to tell apart if it wasn't for their suits of armour to look ever so slightly different. While Lady Tesgella has supposedly travelled with many parties, this one stuck the longest, and now they help guard Castle Phoenix on behalf of Nyllia's request. Much like them, the towering oni called Zazra keeps mostly to herself, and does the same. They're more Nyllia's people than your own, but as long as she's dedicated yourself to you, they'll always be around for extra man-power, even if it's out in the field on quests.

During the raid on Demon King Sa'dis' castle, you met two bombus insectrin sisters, though referring to any insectrin as siblings is a matter of individual opinions. They all spawned together from the same source, so they're either all related or none of them are. Still, they seem to prefer being together as twins. Summer is the first of them, with rich brown hair and tiny buzzing wings. Just like others of her kind, she has a bee-like-behind, with a stringer that nudges up her dress, though she doesn't seem to care. While she is a fighter just like her sister, her passion is gastronomy. She's an exceptional cook, when she isn't putting far too much honey in her dishes, and acts like a beacon of sunlight, which is a wonderful thing to wake up to for breakfast, as well as a pleasant conclusion to every day for dinner.

While she dresses just like Summer, the other insectrin Taiga has deep blue hair, and is effectively opposite of her in most ways. She's stoic and hardy, and she focuses on her duty far more than anything else. Some might say she's a wet blanket, but there have been times where her true desires show. As cold as she sometimes acts, she's one of the most loyal to whom she serves, and after leaving the service of Sa'dis, she now lives to protect you and everybody else in Castle Phoenix.

Most goblins are ferocious little beasts, but occasionally there's either one born different, or one purified by other means. Stax is one who is just as intelligent, if not more so, than a human being. Much like her name seems to imply, she's a total shortstack, with wide hips and a hefty bust despite her small stature. She's a bit of a bandit queen though with a dedicated affection to her crew. When you first met her, she was leading a group of other monster misfits, which all have since joined under you. Now she serves as your treasurer, though has never stolen a single coin. She's a confident, sassy gal with punkish purple hair who isn't afraid to speak her mind, perhaps even more than Delphi.

Koblix is another goblin who you first met when dealing with some annoying **** attempts. He's a bald, short fellow who is rather swift and sneaky, acting as a scout for your cause. He's dedicated himself to you for a couple of reasons: Goblins like him have nowhere to go, not even to other goblins, and Castle Phoenix has become the ultimate place for misfits like him to find home.

Yet another goblin is Mipa. She reminds you somewhat of Niki, though far more of a barbarian. She wears hardly more than a loin cloth, and to most others, she'd probably come across as more of a traditional goblin. She wears her brown hair tied up behind her head, and dresses in animal hides and bones. Strangely enough, she gets along rather well with Bek, though perhaps that isn't so odd. They both love shouting and swinging weapons around after all.

Despite having known her for quite some time, you're still not entirely sure what Lynx's real name may be. It's possible she just prefers it to be that. She's a sunheart, just like Niki, but she's quite different in every other way. You first met her as Falcon in the Golden Sword tournament, back before you converted her to your cause, but she's an emotional, short spymaster with a love for manga she's read that came over from Earth. You've somehow managed to meet a weeb, even on another world.

Chini, Chula, Chila, and Patricia are four harpies who have joined you, the latter of which joined the aforementioned trio later on after escaping a toxic relationship. She was a human, but converted into a harpy willingly. Their names may be the most confusing thing on the planet, but it goes like this: Chini is the bubbly pink-feathered one, Chula is the raven-feathered tomboy leader, and Chila is the one with purple feathers, who acts rather quiet yet tries to follow in Chula's talon-steps with admiration. Patricia has long beautiful red hair, and despite joining them more recently, has seemed to already fit in. You wonder if you should speak to them about some name changes, though.

Another human-intelligent demon similar to a succubus is an anubian. They tend to be found around the Oraang Desert, though they can be anywhere, and they're often feared as terrifying hunters in the night. Sen-nu is one you met when she was taken from Stax's group and tied up in a haunted manor. The strangest thing about anubians isn't their wolven hands or tall canine-like ears, but the fact that each of them has two bodies in the same way one would have two arms, or two legs. Their second body is like an appendage to them. She has dark skin and black hair with flat, short-cut bangs over her forehead. All in all, she appears incredibly like a being straight out of a fantasy version of ancient Egypt, which isn't all that surprising given the name. It makes you wonder how many other connections Abso has with Earth in strange ways. Perhaps most of them are just coincidences.

Meladarai Tlarthanil isn't just a sweet and lovely elven girl with blue hair and glasses. She's a banshee! Not only is she deceased, but he's a powerful spirit most would fear, but it turned out she was only misunderstood, and you've since become close. She's incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the various creatures that populate the world, and she's likely to be the most scholarly in Castle Phoenix. After a long time of having no body, the brilliant mind of Fava managed to build for her something similar she pilots herself--a doll-like body she can possess. Much to her surprise and joy, it worked, and now Mela can choose to walk around tangibly whenever she wishes.

Speaking of Fava, you eventually found a second pixie to add to your numbers. She was discovered in an underground dungeon where she worked on her various artificer inventions. When you stumbled in, she become extremely eager to mess with you, as she had hardly interacted with other people despite her mischievous nature. Unlike the other of her kin who resides here, she's far from graceful. Her navy hair is always a mess, and even the doll-like body she pilots is the same. When she's in her human-like mecha, she looks almost exactly the same as her pixie-self, besides two aspects: Her wood-like skin in a manner similar to Alice as well as the body made for Mela, and her bigger bust.

Catherine, also known as Cat for short even if she doesn't love the nickname, is actually the great-great-grandmother of Queen Catherine II, but still looks just as young and beautiful due to being a vampire. Not only that, but a high vampire, which serves a similar purpose to a high succubus--one powerful vampire among the rest who leads a group of others. She was in a way still a queen, though she yearned for more. Her original plan was to claim birthright to the throne, though after a long journey of being defeated, being Dajy's pet, and watching all you've done, she's become a brand new person, or perhaps someone more like how she used to be. She wishes now for the current Catherine to once again take the throne of Tivera, though she's certainly still rather aloof.

Queen Catherine II is unfortunately not that anymore--a queen dethroned. She was poisoned and replaced, and now King Thadius rules the Empire of Tivera. Now that she's better, however, she's joined your cause, and bides her time for the moment to once again take back her throne. She's a fierce and confident woman who comes across as even more mature than her age. Above all else, she cares about her people. She wants nothing more than to keep them safe.

Yet another type of demon is a tsurara, also known as an ice demon. Shivra is one of these, and pardon the pun, but she was certainly cold when you first met--feisty but distant. Tsuraras are terrifying creatures, as even a single touch to their skin is enough to burn one's flesh due to the incredible cold, and they act in a manner similar to succubi in that they're incredibly seductive, but they do so to trick people into injuring their victims with their body. An ice demon's desire is to be a cock tease. However, when one is subjected to true love and affection, they not only start warming up, but their bodies become drenched as the ice over their skin rapidly melts. You definitely warmed her up.

Gnomes are about the size of goblins, and one amongst your numbers is a gnome called Dixby. She's a recluse, emerging only to pull pranks pertaining to her alchemical skills, which are extraordinary. If it wasn't for her, you wouldn't have been able to use the Elixir of No Finding. People considered her a weirdo back in Brumberg, but in Castle Phoenix, everyone matches that description, so she's happily found her place here. Dix wears her black hair back in a ponytail, and is often seen with big goggles over her eyes.

Malakae Vraelion is one of the newest members of Castle Phoenix. Her story is complicated indeed. Much like both Eva and Lalarin, she comes from a noble heritage that didn't quite work out. She's always been an exceptionally confident girl, however, perhaps to the point of narcissism, and she had pride in her family name. When you first met her, she acted like a school bully to Eva, and even to this day she's definitely a brat, though there is clearly a heart deep inside this golden dragon's core. With her father Lord Vraelion clearly in the wrong, she's left her family, and now feels rather lost. This has never been something she's needed to handle before, but with your help, she's finding her place in the world.

Then there are the various commoners and outcasts who recently joined. That's only those within Castle Phoenix as well. There are plenty of people you've met on your journey some of which are your allies, some your enemies, and some just acquaintances. How long as it been? you wonder. You came to Abso when it was still hot, and now it's somewhat into autumn. It's been at least a few months. You've had no calendar handy, especially not during the entire adventure, so you don't know the exact day you woke up near Avana, let alone when you were first kidnapped and experimented on. It doesn't really matter anyway.

My party in unstoppable. It has to be. Every team we've built for these various adventures has been capable, but of course, there's something special about my primary group. The warrior, the mage, the cleric, and the... Demon King, I guess. I'm a little bit of everything in a way. That's a balanced party. As difficult as it is to plan with these girls at the helm, we make up for each other's weaknesses and work together perfectly in the end. Niki. Eva. Amara. They joined with me when I felt the most lost and alone.

The knob of your door slowly turns. You perk your attention up, though at the very least, you can't imagine an assassin would come in through the door, let alone be able to get past everyone here. The first leg you see step inside is covered by a white fishnet stocking. The other is as well. Timidly, a cute figure makes her way inside, and gently shuts the door behind her.

What do you do?
