Pleasant day

The next day, you end up making the home visit for Keith and Ria, and for once the initial visit doesn’t involve one or both people having to hastily jump out of bed. That’s not to say that they haven’t clearly enjoyed each other’s company, however. You find them relaxing and drinking coffee together, with Ria wearing what is clearly one of Keith’s shirts. It’s a scene you’ve seen many times, and one that makes it obvious that things are going well.

After leaving the happy couple, the rest of your home visits are fairly routine, and you’re thankful for that. On the rare instances where you’ve found a sponsor treating a monster girl poorly, or even simply the pair being incompatible, it’s a tough situation. You’ve always been a generally kind person, but working so closely with the monster girls has made you very empathetic towards them. After all, they left their whole world behind to come here! They put a lot of trust in you and the AWIO, and you feel like you owe it to them to make sure that things work out.

Fortunately, most times it seems like the process works. It’s a rarity to have any issues, although some of the more experienced advisors tell you that it used to be more common for mistakes to happen. All the systems in place now are because of those early failures. You also hear similar stories about the so-called ‘traveler’ program, where people who want to leave this world are able to travel through the portal and make a new life in what is essentially a fantasy realm. There is now a rather rigorous selection and education process involved, due to some unfortunate situations that no one seems to want to elaborate on.

You’re glad that the early issues didn’t sink the project, as you can’t imagine not having the life you now lead. In a very short time, Mazzy and the others have turned your life around. They all do so much for you, and you love them all dearly. Thinking about it, you come to a decision. Having finished your important work for the day, you take the opportunity to duck out early. You visit several stores, and hurry home.

Sure enough, there’s no one there, with all the girls working at the cafe now. That gives you plenty of time to get everything set up. It’s time you showed your appreciation for everything they do, in a way you know they’ll like. After all, you’re one big family now.
