You notice she leaves the light on, and you walk into the bedroom to see her slipping under the covers, and grabbing a book off the nightstand. Alice looks up, and says, "I wasn't going to sleep right away, I just wanted to read". You nod in assent, and return to the kitchen where you clean up, and get the leftovers put away for your lunch tomorrow.

Figuring it's best to let her read, you head into your office to play on the computer for a while. After a little while you see the bedroom light turn off, and you stay on the computer until it's your bedtime. You shut it off, and slip into the bedroom where you lay down to sleep doing your best to not disturb Alice.{else

Alice smiles at you, "don't like it?" she asks. You grin at her and say, "I didn't say that..."

"Well, I think this is going to be my new thing," Alice says, doing a couple more stretches before walking over to the couch and sitting down. She props her arm over the couch and watches you clean up after dinner and put the leftovers away for lunch tomorrow. After, you walk to the couch to join her, and she puts her feet in your lap and wiggles her toes.

Knowing what this means, you give her the foot rub she wants, and she rests her head on your shoulder to finish watching her show. Once she's done, she kisses you and says, "I'm going to bed...don't stay up too late". You reply with, "actually, I'm feeling pretty tired too, I'll join you".
