K'iina the Empress of Fire glares at you with a wide, sharp grin. "This is all I do in here. You'll never beat me," she boasts.

That's kinda sad. "Whether I win or not, will you tell us more?"

"Yup. I mean, I am going to win, though just for playing with me, I'll still continue our talk. But for now, pick someone already! I'll let you go first. Especially since you seem to know about this game already."

With the clatter of buttons, you decide on Sub-Zero.

Xue squints his eyes in deep consideration. "A wise choice," he says.

"You think so?" you ask.

"... Ice, the opposite of fire."

"Symbolic, huh?"

"Then I'm choosing this guy!" K'iina shouts. "Scorpion is the name, right?"

"Correct. All right, let's go. I'm kinda excited too. I haven't seen a TV in so long."

Almost immediately, you don't stand a chance. It doesn't matter that you come from Earth, or how much you may or may not have played Mortal Kombat in the past. This really does seem to be the only thing K'iina has within her domain here. She has likely played every character for countless hours. The passage of time for a being such as her is one you can't fully comprehend, just as was the case with others like her. In the first round, you only get a single blow in before she combos you into submission. At least it wasn't a flawless victory.

"Ahaha! Gotcha! Loser!" she mocks. "Can't you do any better? Wow, that was like nothing!"

You slowly turn your head to stare. "Is this why Aak'aba won't play with you anymore?"

"... Uhm. Maybe."

Suddenly, Bekram the dwarf hoists himself onto the couch on your opposite side. There's hardly any room, and he's a stout fellow, but he doesn't seem to care. "I need a better look at this, so move on over."

You're **** away from him, and pushed right up against the Empress of Fire. She's warm to the touch, though much to your surprise, it isn't in a manner similar to Shivra. It's more like Yin. You don't burn upon contact, though she is still quite hot (in more ways than one). The moment you're pushed against her, she lets out a gasp.

"Mm~!" she struggles to muffle. It's an odd noise. Almost erotic. Her legs pull together, and the flames atop her head rise higher. "O-Oh wow. I haven't uhm--Well, guess it's been awhile since I've touched--L-Let's get back to the game!" she shouts.

You notice she isn't quite playing at her best anymore. She doesn't take you as a shy person, so you wonder why she's so distracted by your bodies barely touching. In fact, it's a close match. It looks like she's going to win at first, though the pendulum swings back in your favour. With a blast of ice from the ninja's hand, Scorpion falls to the ground defeated.

"What?!" she screams, immediately standing to her feet. The controller falls to the ground and cracks. Her eyes turn down, and her lips curl down into a frown. "No--"

"Hold on. I'll fix it," you say before her emotions spiral out of control. You reach down, lift the SNES controller into your hands, and speak the word, "Mend," to repair the damage made to the shell. "Here. It wasn't even internal. Let's keep going. One more round."

She looks to you with a sudden faint red in her cheeks. "... Thank you." Then as she takes it back, your hands briefly touch. When they do, her hair flares up again. And when she sits down to be squeezed by you up against the side of the couch just as before, her skill at the game deteriorates further. She begins to shift uncomfortably in place, and her demeanour becomes more irritable. You can hear the strain of the controller's plastic in her strengthening grasp.

"Get over here!" shouts the character in-game.

At this point, your allies are not only behind the sofa, but pushed up against it. They're incredibly invested in the sudden competition.

"Kick her ass!" Lynx shouts. "Use that ice thing again!"

Eva, perhaps relaxed by the temporary reprieve of her own humiliation as the group and couch partly conceal her nudity, hangs her hands down over the back to touch the sides of your head. "You can do it, Kyle. Defeat the Empress of Fire once and for all."

"Why do you make this sound like a final battle?" you ask.

Stax climbs up to lay just above where Bek is sitting. "Okay so maybe I'm just kinda horny right now, but do you think there's a version of this game where the two guys fighting whip out their cocks?"

"Wh-What?!" Eva blurts out in confusion. "Where did that come from?"

She stomps forwards, and yanks the game from the console before slapping it down upon the top of the television. "I'm not used to playing with all this noise, okay?!"

"Sorry about that," you say. "We can play again sometime, where it's quieter--"

"No! I mean... No, not now anyway. J-Just get out."

"Are you sure?"

She places her hands to the sides of her head. "I need to clear my mind. A lot of uhm... forgotten feelings are rushing back. So go! Go now, damn it!"

You stand from the couch and back away. "K'iina, I hope we didn't hurt your feelings."

She turns around, and then trips over the TV's power cable. It unplugs, and she falls to the ground backwards, knocking up her skirt. You can then see in full view, a chastity belt beneath. Quickly, she pulls it down and rises to her knees. "I said get out!" she screams. Her eyes blaze with fury, and the room's temperature rapidly begins to rise, even with the mysterious frozen crystal floating across the room.
