Plans for Today?
Evelyn helped John and Gladys get cleaned up and dressed then asked, "Amelia is flying home and I'm taking her to the airport, and mom's going to be at her book club all day. What do you have planned John?"
John tilted his head to the side and thought for a moment. He could go with Evelyn to drop of Amelia at the airport. There were sure to be many mothers there he could meet. Another option was to go to Gladys book club. He could always find ways to have fun there. Or he could make his own plans.
Hannah's older sister Bunnie wouldn't be here until dinner time so there was plenty of time to kill.
There were also things he wanted to test out about his new power, see what it was really capable of.
After considering his options for a moment John said "I'll go with you to the airport, maybe I can find an interesting mom to talk to."
"Sure talk to" Evelyn said with air quotes. "Alright well then make yourself useful and grab a bag, we need to get on the road, so we don't miss her flight."
