Fledermaus stretches and refolds his wings. As you stroke his head between his prominent ears, he purrs with satisfaction. The fingers of your other hand stroke the handle of your wand. Fledermaus, if anyone, knows your deepest secrets.

For he himself is your deepest and darkest one.
