Chapter 5 by Lovelylift Lovelylift

What's next?

Pierre Dupont, Under the Mentorship of Le Gardien

This version of Pierre Dupont is an excited, high-energy teenager who wants to save the world but initially lacks the experience. He is taken under the wing and tutelage of France's greatest superhero, Antoine Stark.

Origins and Recruitment

Pierre Dupont in this world is a passionate, talkative teenager living with his Aunt Thérèse (kind but perpetually worried). He is bitten by the spider and immediately begins using his powers to tackle low-level delinquency in the bustling Parisian banlieue (suburb). He does this not out of guilt, but out of sheer excitement.

Using a makeshift, clumsy homemade suit (a red knitted sweater and safety goggles), Pierre quickly catches the eye of Antoine Stark.

Mentorship by Le Gardien

Antoine Stark (the French version of Tony Stark/Iron Man) is the charming yet cynical billionaire, inventor, and industrialist known as the superhero Le Gardien (The Guardian) or L'Homme de Fer (The Iron Man).

Seeing Pierre's raw potential and sense of humor, Antoine decides to take him under his wing. He provides Pierre with a sophisticated, sleekly designed French suit:

* The L'Homme-Araignée Suit: A high-tech suit featuring lightweight fabrics, an integrated AI with a Parisian accent (to help guide Pierre), and optimized mechanical web-shooters.

* Antoine's Condition: Antoine allows Pierre to operate in Paris, but only on a neighborhood level. He must remain under surveillance and report any major threats to Le Gardien.

Fighting for Independence

During this time, Pierre faces two main challenges:

* Proving Himself: Pierre constantly tries to prove he is ready for bigger threats, attempting to join major missions without Antoine's permission.

* The Main Villain, Le Vautour (The Vulture): His first major foe is Le Vautour (The Vulture), a disgruntled former cleaner and contractor for Antoine Stark named Adrien Tome. After a project failure, Tome uses scavenged Stark technology to build a terrifying flying suit and begins stealing high-value technology across Paris. Le Vautour is morally complex, being the loving, devoted father of one of Pierre's close friends, which makes the situation morally agonizing for Pierre.

The Great Crisis

Pierre, without Antoine Stark's knowledge, decides to intercept Le Vautour on his own to prove his abilities. The confrontation occurs at a satellite launch facility outside Paris, or during a transfer of a massive cargo from the Eiffel Tower to Antoine Stark's fleet.

Pierre fails spectacularly, nearly causing the deaths of Le Vautour and many civilians, and is ultimately **** to be rescued by Le Gardien. Antoine Stark, infuriated by the blatant defiance, repossesses the advanced suit.

Rebirth: The Real Spider-Man

Stripped of his mentorship and disheartened, Pierre Dupont is **** to put on his tattered, original homemade suit and track Le Vautour using only his basic‌ gear.

In the final battle, relying on his street smarts, spider-sense, and pure willpower (not Antoine Stark's technology), Pierre defeats Le Vautour and turns him over to the French Judicial Police.

Antoine Stark, impressed by Pierre's ability to prevail without his tech, returns the advanced suit. He makes Pierre understand that the real hero is not the suit, but the person under the mask.

Pierre Dupont continues his duty as L'Homme-Araignée, but this time with greater confidence and a profound understanding of responsibility, establishing himself as a vital and necessary member of the French superhero community.
