"Where's the big man?" Adonis asked, looking around the spacious home.
"Road trip," Elizabeth said, sighing.
"What's wrong, buttercup?" Adonis asked, a little facetiously.
"Just hard," Elizabeth said, sitting onto the couch and burying her pretty face into her hands. "Just one thing after another, you know? Practice, rehab, train, practice, gameday, road trip. It's like a have to set an appointment to even see him. It's ... dumb ... I'm sorry. I'm just venting."
"It's okay," Adonis said, patting her shoulder comfortingly. "Look, you both need outlets. Youngblood needs outlets, he needs time with the boys." He figured, like many players, Jamaal probably already had a side piece, but he didn't need to mention that. "You need an outlet too."
"Like what?" Elizabeth asked, her eyes red rimmed from stress.
"Like ... you like he's physically fit, yes?"
"Very much."
"So why don't you get in the best shape of your life too. So you can both have fun together in that way?"
"Oh, that's a great idea, Adonis!" Elizabeth said. "Would you help me?"
"Of course," Adonis said amiably.
