Pei

The village in the highlands had a predicament when it came time to name a successor to the late caretaker for their guardian, Guegh. The village had no girls of age with all being too old or too young be able to handle the magic bindings. So the elders gathered and discussed what they should do, ultimately deciding to forego tradition this time and subject a young man to servitude. Guegh does have a preference for women, as many tales from ladies he's saved tell of his excitement as they were held in his arms. This resulted in the village picking the most feminine of boys to take part and poor Pei was too docile to speak out. he nearly died from embarrassment as he lay naked on the table in front of the whole village who did not envy his situation. And so the boy will live his life in the highlands, mostly alone, bored, and scared of being taken back to the birdman's nest where he'll feed on a different kind of worm.
