What's next?
Peaceful conversation
"Okay, okay, can you answer my questions now? I can't put my ankle on the floor!"
"Oh no need, you'll never wear flat shoes again."
"Never?!" She asked, in shock.
"What good would I be if I gave you temporary solutions, girl? Oh and yes, I've changed everything you own, and yes, the makeup is permanent. Think of it like a pleasant tattoo."
She clutched her face, now much more afraid of the way he uses words like 'never' and 'permanent'. "How are you doing this?"
"MAGIC!" The tiny man yelled before he disappeared with a flamboyant spin.
She didn't bother looking for him. She knew he was gone.
She sat on her bed, resigned. As she tried to stretch her feet, she wondered if and how she might get out of the situation she now found herself in.
