Pay the tribute... ten gold pieces!

You drop a small bag of gold coins onto the plaque and watch as a large spider descends from the webs above. It scoops up the purse in its wigglers and... tips a very tiny hat to you... before disapearing back up into the webs. There is a short pause before a voice echoes through the room.

"There's a good girl! I can't wait to meet you face to face! Come on through and hope to see you soon! Oh and watch out... just because I'm looking forward to seeing you doens't mean I haven't left you a few surprises along the way~" With that the room goes silent, with the exception of the sound of a soft breeze.

A little shaken but otherwise unharmed, you grip your rapier and head deeper into the dungeon, using your darkvision to peer ahead.
