Pay half

Ethan pulls a twenty of his own out, dropping it on the table. “Half.”

Charlie raises an eyebrow. “Did you not hear me?”

“I did.” Ethan reaches over to one of Charlie’s bills, sliding it towards her. “And I’m paying half.”

Charlie shrugs and lowers her eyebrow. “Alright then.” reaching down she snatches up the twenty stuffing it in her pocket.

Maggie comes up, scooping up the money on the table. "Change?"

"Pft." Charlie shakes her head. "You want change, City-boy?"

“I’m good,” Ethan leans back, kind of wanting his change.

“Alright then, see ya, City-boy.”

"See ya..." Ethan stays behind for a moment, watching her leave.

Eventually, satisfied with his meal, he leaves shortly after, deciding to head straight home.
