I woke up the next morning to someone pounding on Lexi's door.

"Yo, Lexi, wake up, Evan's gone. Again. Forester says we aren't starting on enchanting until we find him."

Lexi and I locked eyes. She put a finger over her lips and padded over to the door. She only opened it a few inches, just enough for Mika to see her face.

"Oh hey Mika, what's up?"

"I just told you, we can't find Evan. Do you sleep naked?"

Lexi pulled more of her body behind the door, blushing.

"Oh yeah, it's nice. Keeps me cool and stuff."

"And you're sweating and red faced because?"

"Uh, well uh..."

Mika laughed.

"Don't worry, I get it."

Lexi's voice went up by at least an octave.

"You get what?!"

"Hey, we're both girls. It's been a tough week, nothing wrong with doing some earlier morning stress relief, if you know what I mean."

"Aw yep, you got me. I was just masturbating. Anyway, imma get some clothes on, then I'll help you guys look for Evan."

"Great, don't lollygag too much hahaha."

Lexi shut the door with a sigh. She turned back to me, face in hands.

"How we gonna get out of this mess?"

"Well, you'll get dressed, go out there, and help them look, and I'll handle the rest."

"Your plan boils down to 'I got this.'?"

"Yeah basically."

"You better not screw up."

"Thanks for the vote of confidence, Lex."

"Seriously, Lucas."

"I know. I got this."

I kissed her quickly while she changed, and watched her butt sway while she walked out. What, I'm only human.

Once she left, I began putting my plan into action.

An amount of time later

I cast Greater Teleportation, falling on my ass. Except this time. It was on purpose. Jake saw me sitting on my ass in the grass and took an unfazed bite of a biscuit.

"Guys, I found him."

"Oh hey Jake. Is that breakfast?"

"Yeah there's more in the kitchen."

I stood up, and dusted myself off while the others made their way to me. It was Emma who spoke first.

"Yo, Evan, what the fuck?"
