Pass the time

Jess decides after that ordeal just to unwind and play some Super Mario Galaxy. After losing herself in the different worlds of S.M.G. she realized that it was almost dinner time and she hadn't had anything to eat.

As she walked into the kitchen she found her mom there, blushing from what happened earlier (or didn't happen earlier?) Jess turned away towards the fridge some ham, cheese, mustard, and bread. As she went to squeeze out the mustard, she found that it was nearly empty.

"I guess I can add that to my list, I'm going to the store, besides mustard is there anything you need?" Jess' mom asked her.

"We're almost out of chocolate ice cream"

"Already on this list", her mom said with a smile. "I know how much you love it."

That she did, chocolate ice cream was one of the few things she didn't think she could live with out.

"Other than that, I don't think there's anything I need."

"Alright, I'll be leaving in a minute, dinner's up to everyone else for tonight, fend for yourselves as I see you are already doing," she said giving Jess a wink.

Headed back into the living room, she found her sister there, Jules.

"Hey, you want to play some?" Jess asked Jules.

"No, I'm good. Going to be going on a date soon"

"Suit yourself."

As she sat down, she started to play again...
