Chapter 18 by Deathcon Deathcon

What does Cameron have to announce?

Party of Normality

"What are you asking for, dear cousin?" Kiera asked with a biting tone completely opposite of her words. "Why would you need to ask?"

Ignoring her Haruto politely asked, "What is your suggestion, Cameron?"

With that Cameron continued his voice now wavering, "Tomorrow you all have our first contest and afterward the second transformation. So I thought..." With renewed confidence he finished, "We have one last party tonight. Any objections?"

Most everyone seemed to agree with the idea as they talked amongst themselves. However it was Ava Gonzalez who was the first to speak up loudly for all to hear, "I was actually thinking the same. We SHOULD have a party, so we can enjoy perhaps our last day of normalcy."

"So what time is this party?" Mikoto asked.

"Don't forget we have that...thing." Sophia added. The remainder of the night's scheduled 'sleepover' caused Cameron to shiver.

"How about 6 pm?" Olivia offered. Everyone else nodded in agreement at the offered time.

"So we are all in agreement then?" Brianna asked before an cacophany of agreement rung out. "Alright, so where will it be held?"

"It has to be around the pool." Ruoxi answered quickly.

"Alright. Haruto and I will get the decorations, Mikoto and Olivia will get the food, Brianna and Ava will get the drinks, and the rest of you all can do whatever else needs to be done." Hanako took the lead as she ordered everyone else around. "Any objections so far?"

No one answered at first leading everyone to silently go their separate ways, with only the pairs going together. The clear camera feed goes static as it reels back to reveal Aki in front of what looks like a camera room with some younger men and women scattered taking care of the cameras. Aki clutched what looked to be an open letter in her hand before she silently crushed it in her palm.

She then rolled the letter into a ball as she chucked it into the nearest trashcan with so much **** it caused the can to roll as the ball of paper hit it. Aki then made her way out of the camera view before a metallic door could be heard opening and then closing. "Heh, they are smarter than I gave them credit for," Aki said before the clicking of her heels became too far for the camera's microphone to pick up.

How does the preparations go?
