Part Four

Waking up that next morning alone in his bed at Redstone Manor, his family’s ancestral home. Rolling onto his side, Peter checked the clock on his phone for the time before climbing out of bed and making his way to his ensuite bathroom where he took a shower, enjoying the hot water before stepping out, drying himself off with a towel and then got ready for the day ahead.

Making his way downstairs to the dining room, walking through the room and into the kitchen, Peter brewed himself some coffee when he heard the sounds of heels on the floor and he made his way over back to the hallway, coffee mug in hand where he spotted Adrianna, dressed into nothing but a silk robe as she escorted two models Peter recognised, one Brazilian and the other a Spanish model as she led them to front door.

“Sorry, about this. My parents gave the staff the week off,” Adrianna smoothly told her before effortlessly lying as she said. “And I don’t think they’d appreciate it if some of the girls that are supposed to be in their fashion show are sitting at their dinner table.” The Swedish model whispered something in her ear, making Adrianna grin. “No, darling, I definitely don’t share.”

Adrianna laughed before closing the door behind them and then turned to see Peter watching her from the doorway to the dining room. Slowly she made her way across to her adoptive brother with her smirk still plastered across her face.

“Those two mean,” Peter paused. “You’re at three now.”

“Jealous?” Adrianna asked as she took the coffee mug from his hand and took a sip of his coffee.

“Of your threesome? Please.” Peter snorted. “Though I am impressed you talked Krystal Laurent into breaking her infamous no hookups during Fashion Week rule.”

“I made a very compelling argument about why that rule should be broken” Adrianna purred as she finished his coffee and set it down on the dining table. “Besides, you and I both know rules are boring,” Adrianna leaned against the table and looked at her brother. “But let’s not get away from the most important detail. You brother, are losing spectacularly. I'm up by three. Have you even started yet?”

“Of course I did,” Peter rolled his eyes at the redhead. “I'm Peter Grayson. You think Katya and I just talked all night?"

"Damn. How was she?” Adrianna said in surprise. “Cos she's hot and Vanya got a little freaky with me, is her bestie..."

“I’m not kissing and telling. When have you ever known me to do that.” Peter scoffed.

"That's because you're no fun." Adrianna shook her head.

"Or maybe I just don’t need to broadcast my conquests like some playboy." Peter told her. "Though clearly, someone’s keeping score."

"Darling," Adrianna sighed, "if you’re not keeping score, you’re not playing the game right.” Adrianna paused. “Just so you know, today the company's hosting the Hollister collection if you plan on showing up like you did yesterday and tonight Daniella Santos has an exclusive private party afterwards. Luckily one of us can multitask and also managed to snag us some invites whilst she was Vanya or was it Sofia. One of the two."

"Multitasking," Peter sarcastically said. "Is that what we’re calling it now?"

"Mm. Among other things." Adrianna smirked. "Unless you want to admit defeat already?"

"Not a chance." Peter confidently told her. “You may be in the lead now, but I’m definitely going to win.”
