Chapter 6

What's next?

Panicked, you barged The Sarge with questions.

The Sarge stood like every formal person you knew and fiction characters you've seen, his back stood upright and coincided with the accentuated muscular chest underneath his shirt. Those eye seemed to had been staring back at several horrors and tragedies, leaving one left to see what comes next.

"So, uhh, sir..." You mumbled to his vibe of authority. Those eye shriveled right through you for being handy with the guarded cookie jar.

"Keep talking kid." He said.

Imagine you're in your own body, wetting your pants from a direct eye contact with that man. With your current gaping height, he's the one that had to look up to you.

"Ho-how long have you been here?" You braced your will to ask, along with the struggling eye-contact to him. He reached his own wristwatch for something.

"Eh, long enough... Thanks to this..." He smiled before fading from your sight.

"What the!" You gasped.

Shortly after he was shown again, the dark black suit and supposedly Kevlar shirt returned to view.

"Now, you seemed to have some questions, Alex."

"Right, of course, but, Sarge... can I change these heels? Its really hard to walk on this thing."

Which he beckoned your arm to him for setting the wristwatch. Aside from the palpable height decrease off your heels, your skin also felt a different cloth.

"O...kay..." Your neck felt a mild grip, an addition to the previous grip throughout your body curves. It looked closely similar to wearing a latex bodysuit, seeing this vanilla white, sleek and shiny wardrobe covering everything but your hands and feet.

"Like the suit, Alex? Its our trainee uniform."

"Y-yeah."

Your eyes still leered on the vanilla white surface covering your body. The material was really stubborn as you can't pinch one away from your arm. Another concern arise, you can't seem to find any opening throughout the suit. No zipline like the previous suit, and even buttons are absent. A plain and tight onesie. Still, it was just as flexible to move around as the earlier spy suit. The naturally swaying hips was still something bizarre and an odd feeling, but the new footwear made you felt positive to get use to the whole walking sensation. Out of the high heeled boot and walked on this, white shiny flats.

"Thank you, Sarge... Girls really made high-heels seemed easy."

"Yes... so, other questions?"

And so you blurted the things that are itching in your head.

"WH-what is this place?

"Where are we?"

"What organization are you leading?"

"Where's Kaylee?"

"What are you going to do to me? especially when I knew too much!!!"

The Sarge took this with a slight chuckle, followed by a smile to your surprise.

"I like the enthusiasm, Alex... come with me."

The Sarge beckoned, and you followed him out of your cell and through the halls. Seemed like a cavern, with those rocky walls and steel arch supports. Being underneath somewhere you’re about to find out.

"So, uh, busy day today Sarge?" You wrought up.

"Yeah, and it won't be just today it seems." He turned up to you for a bit.

Wait!... how do he know my name?

You wondered after a few minutes. Seeing the busy hallway with agents of different grouped uniforms and noticed as you waited for him to elaborate about the activity going on around you.

He led you into a records room, with the expected shelfs and drawer and roomy to walk through. You followed him further as he walked into some sort of booth.

"Take a seat." He pointed to a seat as he prepared his device. You were then astounded to see a hologram interface shot up from an intricate projector. It was presenting the country's map with a red color over the state you live in.

"It's bad news if the hall's busy Alex."

"But, life's not all sugar all the time right?" The Sarge noted.

"So what's this about?" You asked

"This is about a mind switch. Something or someone, pulled a fictional trope and made it happen throughout the state." The Sarge unfolded it.

"Wait, state-wide?!" Your mind's jumbling, countering your initial belief that it's just the college building. Your heart went racing and your head heated up.

"Yes, Alex..." The Sarge said, but before he managed to say anything else.

"Wh-what caused this?! and where's my family?! Huh-huh I thought the prom chaos was worse." You blurted out what you feel and seen so far. You're panicked again with your lungs pumping fast.

"Now calm down son, we're investigating it. You could count on that. As such we haven't looked into who is who. At the moment we're forming a perimeter to secure the state, so no one gets to leave until everyone is back in their proper bodies." The Sarge firmly said

"Can I see my family? M-maybe we can trace their whereabouts from whoever is in my house!" You said.

“Whoa, hold on there Alex. Can’t you see that you’re a trainee?” Sarge said

“Meaning?” You’re confused at his reply

“Meaning, you’re in dire need of training.” The Sarge paused and exclaimed the last word while you’re still raising an eyebrow to this.

“Huhhh… we can’t have you immaturely walking around in one of our top agents.” Sarge scolded you.

"B-but, I could fight, I did work around the body." You reminisced the previous victory and boiling to experience another one soon.

"And took down who? amateurs?" The Sarge countered

“B-but, my family?...” You wanted to add.

“Butts are for horses, now let’s go to your room. Let me and my men handle the case.” But the Sarge interjected and leaded you out of the records room.

The meeting bummed you and miffed you all the way. The Sarge somehow noticed this without batting an eye.

“Look kid, the swap messed up a lot of things. Many people get their identity shedded, good people got lost and bad people got free. Natalie was fortunate to get swapped with a decent kid.” The Sarge lectured

“Thanks.” You smiled and scratched your hair to the compliment.

“If not counting your perversions that is... which is one of many of this suit's function.” The Sarge then stared to your eyes.

“B-but how am I going to pee in this thing?!” You’re heating up to the thought

"It's a smart suit, just go to the toilet and pee." He said.

Another thing to be miffed about, the lost chance to easily reveal these dangling cantaloupes. Being frickin interrupted by Sarge's call, Paulina's scream for help, and then again with the Sarge.

“Back to the topic, other agents and staff got worse odds and we’re currently handling the missing occupations in this branch before taking things further.” Sarge said and opened the door to an empty room with four beds and stuff.

“W-wait, I’m still curious…” You asked, which the Sarge allowed you to go on and said.

“Where are we? And what is Miss Natalie here doing in my college?” You asked

“We’re underneath your city and Miss Natalie’s mission was…” The Sarge paused on the last part to your anxiety. You’re underneath your city, so it's not far from your family wherever they are in the state. Your lips can’t help to raise a smile and eyes sport wide open.

“Classified for trainees.” The Sarge said with a straight face. It made your hopes go down with your face sapped away from the energy earlier.

“Here, follow the schedule and answer the comms.” The Sarge handed the schedule card, which was basically; training, meal breaks and sleep.

“Right... ‘good talk’ Sarge.” You bummed

“Good talk Alex.” Sarge waved and left you to your shared room.

You walked into the room, it had two sets of bunk beds with bags of toiletries neatly set above a cupboard.

“Great, It's a boy scout camp all over again.” You remarked.

You took another glance around the small room then started to climb up the bunk bed on your right.

“Hope the roommate’s fun, like Josh and Cassie. Or maybe even Chris and Sean from high school!... so many possibilities with this body swap fiesta. ” You hoped, looking at the plain grid celling as you're laying on the bed.

“Hey!!!” Someone said from the front, straight from where the door at.

You crawled forward to see a meet this call, and saw a woman on the doorframe. She was staring back at you. Catched a short funky hair that clashes colors with the trainee catsuit, further looking at her shorter height down to the floor with similar toned and curvy body frame to yours. She, or in this event, her body, had tattooed hands that seemingly plenty throughout the arm.
