"Can I? Just tonight. Please?" Rebecca says.
"Rebecca, we have to get to sleep," you say. "And I sleep best by myself. Really."
"Maybe some other time?" Rebecca says.
"Maybe," you say. "Not tonight."
Rebecca turns her shoulders toward you and wraps her arms around you. You don't resist her embrace, but you don't return it. You give her a fond pat on her soft buttock, where your hand's been resting, and another pat on the head.
"Good night," you say.
"Good night," Rebecca says, disappointment in her voice.
"Good night," Marina says, rolling her shoulders and stretching. "Remember my introduction."
"Right," you say. You bend her head to Rebecca's ear. "Do you think you can stay in the room while Marina wanks, now?"
"Yes," Rebecca says. "Some of the time, anyway."
"That's good," you say. "See you in the morning."
You depart for your solo room that you share only with your new snake familiar, Sapienta. Thinking of her makes you think of Miss Wormwood, and the paralyzing, aphrodisiac venom she used after you teased her into taking you, sexually. After your escapade with the half-giantess Dorothy sent you to the infirmary. Dorothy was so sweet to you, and her pleasure was earthshaking.
You open Sapienta's basket and drift off to sleep with your new best friend curled between your breasts. She likes your warmth as much as Rebecca does.
