Over-Eager Extrovert

Amy clicked on the first option in the list, Over-Eager Extrovert. The game was overly complicated and frankly boring, so she probably wasn't going to play another round. The app itself had piqued her interest, however, and she was baffled by the strange message on the game over screen. What did it mean by giving her 30 seconds to pick a punishment? The options it gave were vague and seemingly had nothing to do with the game she had been playing. The whole thing felt oddly threatening, but besides breaking her phone, there wasn't anything the app could actually do.

As that thought passed through her mind, she started to feel a bit uneasy. A few moments had passed since she selected her "punishment" and her phone was still on the same screen. She was about to reload the app to see if it was lagging when she came to a realization. She had to go out! There were people outside of her apartment and here she was couped up in her room! She quickly changed out of her pajamas and practically ran out the door. She lived in a fairly nice apartment complex in a neighborhood that she felt safe in. It wasn't like there were bad people around, she just hadn't ever gotten to know any other people in her building. As she rushed down the hall thinking of places to go at 11:00 on a Tuesday night, she decided she couldn't wait long enough to drive anywhere. She had so many new people to meet and make friends with!

She stopped at a random apartment number several doors down from hers and knocked rapidly hoping someone would be home. As she waited in giddy anticipation, her phone chimed with a new message. She looked down at the notification which came from her new app. What she saw was strange enough to briefly snap her out of the high she was currently riding.

Over-Eager Extrovert - The player will be filled with the compulsion to meet new people, make new friends, and socialize any chance she gets. Increased levels of extroversion will also make the player loud, talkative, and outgoing.

"Why is the app talking about compulsions?" Amy thought. "It had to be a coincidence, didn't it, that this message would pop up on her phone right when she was..." She looked up at the door in front of her in horror. She wasn't extroverted and she certainly didn't want to burst in on a stranger at this hour for no apparent reason! The thought of spending her night alone felt so impossible though. The building was full of people she could talk to for hours, introducing herself and getting to know them, and... Her confusing thought process was interrupted by the door finally swinging open to reveal a tired looking man who looked to be in his thirties.

"What is it? Don't you know what time it is? the man asked with irritation. His expression softened when he saw it was a young woman smiling broadly at him.

"Hi I'm Amy and it's so nice to meet you! Can I come in? I was sitting at home and I just decided to get to know some of the people in the building! Oh my god, I forgot to ask, what's your name? What do you like to do for fun? Do you have any pets? I think I should come in and hang out, is that alright?

Her loud and incessant chattering startled the man so much he backed up enough that Amy was able to step inside the apartment. He would normally shout back at anyone who came barging in uninvited, but he admittedly found her somewhat attractive. She was still in her early twenties and he was just starting feel himself getting older. Nevertheless, there was something very unusual about the way she was acting towards him.

"Slow down, slow down! My name is Paul. I don't know what you're doing here this late or why you think you can just come inside, but I really have to ask you to leave."

"But... can't we just hang out for a while? I really, really want to get to know you better! I was so bored at home I was playing some stupid mobile game..." The memory of the app and her supposed punishment resurfaced. It really wasn't like her to, well, do any of this. She still couldn't believe that an app could affect her in real life, but she had a feeling it was connected somehow. "Why don't we play games together, that could be fun!" If there was something happening with the game, maybe her new friend Paul would have some incite. She opened up the app again and sidled up to Paul showing him her phone. "See, you match these blocks together, pretty simple. I lost the last round because I couldn't navigate around those obstacles blocking part of the screen."

Paul was beginning to feel uncomfortable indulging this weird girl any longer despite her charming eagerness. He watched as she played some generic mobile game next to him while glancing up now and again trying to gage his interest. He wasn't surprised when she lost the round since she was clearly distracted by him for some reason. What did surprise him was the on-screen message displayed in big bold letters.

"Game over, again! Choose your punishment in 30 seconds... or else!
