Outsmart her (indirectly)

It is obvious that I need to be less direct. If I confront her right now, she will beat me both physically and legally.

"Ahem. You're right. I shouldn't have opened the door like that. Neither I should try to stop you from removing that video." Hopefully, the change in tactics will shift Jenny to where I want her.

"Indeed you were reckless. Now out of my office. I don't want you to snoop around while I am out." She points to the door, so I leave the room.

Outside, I wait for Jenny to leave. As she prepares for her lunch break, I try to figure out what to say next when she leaves the room. Maybe I need to be a bit more empathetic to her.

When she finally leaves her office, I say "Ummm Jenny.... I'm sorry about storming into your office like that. It was wrong of me to do that, and I understand why you want to take that video down. Could I buy you lunch as an apology?"
