Out Cold

"I... I...." Gator Gal stammered, several thoughts racing through her head. A few seconds later, the alligator woman shook her head with a growl. "You're still lying! why would ya even use dat electric attack on dem if ya weren't trying to kill dem?!"

"I thought that Mufette would be durable to survive." Kumiko replied, gesturing over to Stryker. "I was actually hesitant in using the spell when he told me that Mufette loaded her gauntlets with a dangerous flesh eating acid!"

"Acid?!" Gator Gal asked in disbelief, "Looka, I love stripe like a sister, und she's smarter than i am in every way, but dat girl can't even get da sug to cream ratio in her morning brew right. Und you believed dat she'd mess around with acid?"

"Kumiko!" Stryker gasped, keeping up the charade. "I am completely shocked at you right -"

"Drop the act!" Kumiko barked, glaring at the imposter. "I know that you're not the real Kitty! The real Kitty hates blueberries, loves vinegar, goes into a laughing fit whenever I mention the word smoothie, and would at least try to help if I was in a situation like this!"

"Uh... Well, I..."

As Kumiko and Stryker went back and forth, Gator Gal felt several thoughts racing through her head. What if Kumiko had a point? None of the villains, herself included, knew anything about their knew partner.

Why had she sent Lord of Lobsters out there in the first place? Ryu and Annette had both said that Goddess of Shadow had sent the former out, but the shadow woman insisted the opposite was true. Who was lying in this situation?

This was making her brain hurt as she let out a low grunt. "Why couldn't I have kept dat muscle when I transformed into dis gator woman?" She muttered under her breath.

Before another thought could be entertained, however, a dark mist surrounded both the naked heroine and the alligator woman, the two beginning to lose consciousness before falling to the ground. Stryker looked over the two in surprise.

"You had one job, Stryker." Stryker turned around to see Goddess of Shadow exiting the shadow portal and lowering her hand, the shadow woman not looking impressed.

"It wasn't my fault!" Stryker snapped as he transformed back into his normal form, growing larger in size and darker in color. "If we had spent some more time analyzing that little runty pipsqueak, I could've given a more convincing performance!"

"Whatever! It doesn't matter now." Goddess of Shadow said with an evil grin as she levitated the two **** women into the air. "We have what we want. I may have to wait an hour or two to propose my little exchange of her loved ones for her magic, but I have exactly what I want nonetheless."

"And the primordial handbag?"

"Gator Gal will be brought back to the common room where Lord of Lobsters is just waking up." Goddess of Shadow replied. "Tell the other villains that there has been a slight change of plans, and to wait in the common room until Kumiko wakes up. Then, I want you to bring all the prisoners to the throne room where I'll be waiting."

"Whatever you say, Boss." Stryker said with a roll of his eyes hopping into the portal to relay the message.

Once he was gone, Goddess of Shadow smirked evilly. "Sweet, loyal, trustworthy Stryker. You always know when to follow orders. That's why it will only hurt just a fraction more when I siphon your abilities after I do so to Kumiko, her friends, and her enemies."

With that said, the shadow woman walked through the portal while levitating Kumiko and Gator Gal through, the portal closing behind them.
