Other Options

Looking at the board more closely, Venus sees some jobs she had originally missed. There is a request to help capture a griffin on a mountain to the north but she would need a partner. Griffins could be tricky since they could fly so if she took that job she would need either a skilled archer that could help set traps or a mage.

Also she noticed a job to capture a Carbuncle, a small cat-like creature with a red gem in the middle of its forehead. The bill said that the owner was hoping that by owning one of the small creatures it could bring him luck. Venus had heard of one sighted in an abandoned mine nearby, but the job didn't sound too interesting and the mine would be full of monsters.

She could also hear other hunters talking about jobs they were about to take. Maybe one of them could use a partner?
