Openly confront the imposter.

"What do you mean that's not the real Cielina in front of me?" You ask Vessa.

"I can sense a foul aura around her." Vessa whispers into your ear. "The women around her cannot sense it. I do nae know if any of her sisters are magically attuned enough to sense it either."

"What aura is she exhibiting?" You ask her in whispers.

"A demoness." Vessa whispers to you. "Please be careful in how you expose the demoness. We may not have the enchantments to take her down yet, and we do nae know what she is capable of, or where she may be hiding the real queen."

"Do you sense something else?" You whisper to Vessa.

"The spy is not real either." Vessa whispers to you. "She's exhibiting the same demonic aura as the one disguised as Cielina."

"Ahem!" Queen Cielina interrupts. "May we continue our talks, King Bryce?"

"Not before you tell me who you truly are." You tell her, as Vessa stays by your side. "My court mage here senses something amiss about you, and your master spy."

"There is nothing amiss about me," Cielina tells you in a calm voice, "or my dearly beloved Maricara. Or maybe my charm & beauty is starting to tap into your manly urges."

"I won't ask again," you tell her, "or my mage here will **** your true identity out."

"Don't be so naive, Itherian." Cielina tells you, as the soldiers behind her put their hands on the hilts of their weapons, and your own soldiers respond accordingly. "Do you really think your court mage is that powerful? My shamans can stop her cold, before she even starts casting her spell."

As Cielina speaks, your eyes quickly scan the surroundings. Inside the house of the slain village chief, the numbers are even. Outside, however, you know you're outnumbered 10 to 1. Your eyes do pick up the subtle hints of where Akina & some of the spies are hiding, ready to pounce, if needed. With the situation quickly assessed, you make eye contact with the being in the disguise of Cielina.

"She wouldn't be my court mage," you tell the Amazon Queen, "if she wasn't powerful enough. Vessa, would you care to demonstrate?"

"As you wish, your highness." Vessa tells you.

"Quick...quick!" Cielina tells her soldiers. "Stop the mage!"

With a snap of your fingers, your soldiers quickly move forward, forming a defensive circle around you & Vessa. The soldiers behind Cielina draw their weapons out, beginning their move towards you. The sounds of other Amazons rushing in can be heard, just as you can hear Vessa start her magic chant. A pair of light orbs form on Vessa's hands, as she speaks as fast as she can. Your eyes barely catch Akina & your other royal spies emerge, blackjacks in hand, and knocking some of the Amazon women out from behind. As the door behind you opens, and those other Amazon soldiers move to engage your royal guards, Vessa finishes casting, just as the creature disguised as Maricara draws out a blowgun, and fires a dart at her. One of your keen soldiers blocks the incoming dart, which is followed by a pair of light auras surrounding Cielina & Maricara. Then a flash of white light follows, and where there was once an Amazon Queen & her master spy, the pair of demonesses are revealed.

In Cielina's place, is a tall, busty, yet seemingly powerful succubus taking the place of where Cielina stand. Her pale skin & body looks humanlike, except her fingers are like claws, and her feet are like the hooves of a horse. A wave of pale green hair goes down to the small of her back, and you can see the pair of thick, ram-like horns. Her eyes are a pale yellow, and they are definitely glowing. You can also see another apparent succubus, where Maricara once stood. She is similar in size, except she has lavender-colored hair, and her own ram-like horns are smaller in size.

"Our plans are ruined, sister!" The green-haired succubus tells the other one. "We were supposed to reap in some innocent blood, to open a gateway for our mother!"

"We can still do it, sister!" The other succubus speaks out. "We just wait for them to come find their precious queen!"

"Come and try finding her & her master spy inside the volcano to the northeast, human!" The green-haired one speaks out. "We will relish offering your blood, body, and soul to our master!"

"Not if I can help it!" You hear Akina speak out to the succubi.

You see a ball of fur & leather leap at the green-haired succubus, making the creature hiss, and thrash around. The other succubus manages to knock the other royal spy away, and grab Akina by her ankles, pulling her off of her demonic sister's back. You can see the green-haired succubus turn around, ready to strike at Akina. So you order your guards in front to charge at the succubi. They toss Akina at them, knocking them down, and sending the cat-woman sprawling to the ground, right in front of you.

"Come and get her, mortal," the green-haired succubus tells you, "if you can!"

The two succubi spread their wings out, and leap up, crashing through the ceiling, and into the open sky. The sounds of stunned Amazon women can be heard, and the sounds of the military officer that escorted you in can be heard, telling her sisters to stand down. She pulls her sisters away, allowing you to relay a similar command to your own troops. Despite being nearly out of breath, she speaks out to you.

"What happened?!" The officer asks you. "Where's Queen Cielina?!"

"Kidnapped by a pair of demons we call succubi, and taken to a volcano in the northeast--more than likely Mt. Sargasso." You tell her. "They can siphon the life & soul out of their victims, to help disguise themselves as anyone they meet, or form their own human-like features based on their victims. Did you & your fellow Amazons notice or hear anything strange when you first landed here?"

"Well..." the officer tells you, "...we did hear some strange flapping sounds about two nights after we took the village. Now that I think about it, I went to inform my queen about it, and she said not to worry about it."

"Well we need to find where they're keeping your queen captive," you tell her, "and maybe your master spy, as well."

"Are you going to bring your army?" The officer asks you.

"You bring your sisters," you tell her, "and I will bring my army. I may not be as strong in swordplay as your queen, but I learned much about various creatures in my studies."
