Kim rode the elevator back to her room with a sigh on her lips that she refused to let out. After all, it didn’t seem proper to express her disappointment with the current situation; that was just how it had all shaken out.

It could have gone worse. Rose could have turned this into some twisted competition or something, I suppose, she considered. And that idea brought to mind the image of Rose as the host of her own season of Harem Hotel.

Kim shivered at the thought. What a terrifying visual!

In the end, it had been up to the blonde who she would invite with her on her upcoming date. Dawn had raised the idea that both of them accompany Rose, no doubt angling for more people to compete with, but Rose had put her foot down. Kim could understand that. And when it came down to a comparison between herself and Dawn over who Rose would rather be with, she certainly wasn’t surprised that Rose had chosen the girl who she’d already been in up to the Master’s Suite with before.

Even if Kim had been the one to ask first.

Because even though she understood Rose’s reasoning, and likely would have agreed with it herself if she’d been in the other woman’s position, it still stung to be overlooked like that.

That was a feeling Kim was all too familiar with.

“I’m sorry, it must not seem fair to you for me to pick Dawn instead,” Rose had sincerely apologized. “But Dawn’s transformation is compelling her to compete with a partner. And that partner should be me. If I pick you over her, then she’ll be stuck. It’s not like she can ask Dani to compete over that. But you can still ask to invite you on her night, right? Kim stepped out of the elevator to a chorus of voices, finding that the lounge was still not empty even hours later. Three women were standing in front of the Bounty Board, their voices raised slightly as they argued.

The first thing that caught Kim’s eye was that one of the women towered over the others. Kim didn’t recognize her at all, because she didn’t even look human. She had scaly brown skin and a thick tail like a horned lizard, and her bare arms were covered in spines. Spiky hair like porcupine quills stuck out short on her head, and even with her back turned, Kim could make out a figure of bulging muscularity.

It wasn’t until Kim saw who the large lizard girl was arguing with that she put the pieces together. Because standing beside her was a shorter woman with an incredibly curvy figure, mostly emphasizing on her cartoonishly massive breasts. The kind of mega mountains Kim could scour the entire stock of brassieres the boutique had available, and still not find one that fit. And in front of them both was the familiar, curvy figure of a certain blue-haired and blue-feathered tan-skinned girl.

Kim squinted, trying to get a closer look, and while she was doing that Dani turned her head slightly towards her.

Their eyes met, and the feathered girl gasped.

Kim didn’t need to be asked twice. She went to join the girls, taking the opportunity to give Carly another look over. She was really something with those bulging muscles and those sharp teeth. Practically the only part of her that still resembled the cosplayer she knew was her bright blue eyes, and even those looked reptilian now.

Carly grinned back and stopped fiddling with her watch. “Thanks. …Right! So back to what we were talking about before.”

“Yes, that’s right,” Dani said, clapping her hands together and turning back to Kim. “So you see this bounty right here?” She pointed to the Bounty Board. It only held a single bounty on it, one Kim knew all too well.

She shrugged. “It just makes sense, right? We don’t have to talk about every little thing with everybody. If you see a bounty you want, then just take it.”

“Right, Dani, be more assertive,” Marley agreed. “And besides, how many people would even want that one? It’s not like many other people here are up for doing stuff with other women.”

She paused, remembering some of the stuff that happened last night.

“…Maaaaaybe Rose would…” she reconsidered.

Kim smirked. Then she turned back to Dani. “Anyway, my point is you should just take it if you want it,” she said with a shrug.

Dani sucked on the inside of her cheek and glanced at the flyer again. “I guess so…” she murmured. Then she turned to Carly. “And you’re sure you’re okay with this?”

“What? You mean am I okay with my girlfriend getting hot and steamy with other girls?” Carly asked sarcastically. “Well gee. Seeing as how I’m currently sleeping with a man outside of our relationship, it would be pretty darn hypocritical of me to say you couldn’t have a little fun for yourself, don’t you think?”

Marley sighed. Her sister could have worded that a little better.

Thankfully, Dani didn’t seem to be bothered by it. “You raise a good point,” she admitted, giving Carly a half-smile. “I guess it’s kind of silly for me to get so worked up and concerned… I just, well… I’ve been having so much fun with you, that the thought of ever being with someone else…”

It wasn’t as if Dani had a long and extensive record of being intimate with other women.

“I get to watch, right?” Carly asked with a playful smile. For a moment Kim thought she was joking, but then she remembered the cosplayer’s “The Other Side of the Window” transformation and realized she might be serious.

Dani scratched her cheek and blushed. “I mean… would you like to…?”

“Well, I am going to be first on your list, right?” Carly asked cheekily, as if the chance of that not happening was a possibility. “So it only seems fair. You know. For me to watch while you and the other girls…”

Marley cleared her throat loudly. “For the record,” she said, holding up her hand, “I’m not a contestant. So there’s no point in trying to drag me into this.”

“Yeah, I think that would be awkward in a whole different way,” Dani agreed. “But okay, Carly, you’ve convinced me.” She reached up and tore the bounty down.

Kim smiled as she watched the exchange. It was actually matching perfectly with her own goals. She’d been considering asking Dani if the tomboy would consider having a threesome with her, and if Dani was actively hunting for women to be with, they could both end up getting what they wanted.

“…Is that a bad thing?” Kim winced. She wasn’t sure exactly what the “correct” way was to ask a lesbian if she could accompany her up to a man’s room for the purpose of having a three-way.

…Actually, there probably wasn’t a correct way to do that, the more Kim thought about it.

Dani sighed and scratched her head. “Look, um… okay… so first off, it’s not that I don’t want to,” she said. “I just want to make that clear from the start.”

Kim fought back a frown. That wasn’t a good sign.

Dani continued, “Also… um… I’m really grateful that you’re interested in helping me with my bounty. And you’re not trying to pressure me with some kind of quid-pro-quo sort of thing.”

Kim gasped, staring in stunned scandal at the other girl. She couldn’t imagine anyone would even think of doing something like that!

“I would never-!”

“I know, I know!” Dani waved her hands. “Look, not the point. I just, well…”

She blushed.

“…I never really thought of you that way before,” Dani admitted. “I guess I’ve been so focused on Carly I haven’t really paid other girls much attention. Plus, I know you like guys, so…”

“This isn’t about you and me, though,” Kim pointed out. “…I mean, okay, yes, it is, but it’s more about, well… you and me helping each other out. Doing each other a favor, you know?”

Dani nodded. “Right, I get that. But are you really up for… being with another woman? I mean, Kim, didn’t you just have sex for the first time with Nick on your date with him last round?”

Fair point. Kim wasn’t exactly overflowing with sexual experience herself, even if she spent four hours a day standing around in her underwear. And truthfully? Her relationship with Nick was already a little hard to define. He obviously couldn’t be exclusive to her since he was seeing other women, and it wasn’t as if she wanted to cheat on him herself. Kim didn’t know. But she was willing to try.

“Yeah, I guess,” Kim admitted. “I’m still willing to give it a try, though. And besides, it’s not like it would just be the two of us… Nick would be involved, too.”

“Partially,” Dani admitted. “I can’t say that’s my favorite part of this whole arrangement. But the criteria for this bounty, I’m not even sure I can fulfill it.”

Kim blinked. “What do you mean?”

“Well… a few rounds ago, Carly and I, we… well.” Dani glanced over at Carly, who nodded back to her, implicitly giving the other girl permission. That made Dani feel a little better and she turned back to Kim. “We were… with Nick. Having sex. …Carly was having sex! To be clear. I was watching. And, um… touching. Myself. And her.”

Why was this so hard for her to say!?

In spite of Dani’s fumbling words, she was still painting a very clear picture for Kim, who nodded in silent acknowledgment of everything the other tomboy was saying.

“…My point is, even though all three of us were involved, we didn’t get points for a threesome,” Dani explained. “So it might be that what’s colloquially known as a threesome, and what… we did, well… they might not be the same thing.”

A chill ran down Kim’s spine.

Dani sighed grimly. “That’s my concern,” she grumbled. “And it’s fucking bullshit if you ask me, since I have all these urges, and I can’t even benefit from ‘em, and I just… never mind.” She blushed a little as she realized what she was saying. Kim looked at her in confusion.

“Urges?” She asked, raising her eyebrow curiously. “What urges are those?”

“Uh…” Dani glanced briefly over to Carly and then back to Kim. “It’s, uh…”

It would be so fucking hot!” She wasn’t normally the kind of person to talk like this, but a dam had been broken. She waved at Carly, who preened proudly for her.

Kim blushed a little. “Yeah… no, I get it…”

Dani crossed her arms over her chest. “But I don’t get any points for it? Talk about a rip-off. So sorry, but as much as I want to help, I don’t know if I can.”

Well… Dani wasn’t wrong, that did sound like a potential problem. On the other hand, she was definitely open to helping Kim out.

Maybe they could work out a solution after all…

Kim smiled. “Hey, Dani… I think I have an idea of how we can all get what we want,” she said with a conspiratorial smile. An uncommon thing for a woman who was normally so earnest. That right there was enough to get Dani’s attention.

“Oh, really?” She asked, intrigued. “I’m listening.”

Kim explained her plan for how to get Dani more involved to the other three girls. And by the time she was done, they were all wearing the same conspiratorial grins as she was.
