Silver patiently waited as Eggman leaned back, a sly grin on his face. "Let me guess, Blaze came through, and you're furious about what happened to her," he taunted. The grey hedgehog remained silent, unwilling to give Eggman the satisfaction of getting under his skin. He was determined not to let that happen.

"I didn't anticipate Nega actually pulling it off..." Eggman mused, his demeanor relaxing slightly. "However, it seems I only have to deal with one annoyance while I have to handle so many more." Silver glared intensely, his guard still up, ready to fight if necessary, as Eggman continued, "No need to get all worked up. I have nothing to do with Nega's plan. He only contacted me to boast about it."

Despite his anger, Silver listened attentively. He had to protect Blaze, regardless of the timeline. After all, they were friends, weren't they? "Nega managed to utilize one of my concepts to achieve his objectives," Eggman explained, leaning back. "He designed a robotic counterpart capable of adapting to his enemies' growing abilities. Unlike Metal Sonic, where I constantly underestimated that blue nuisance," he admitted, "Nega's creation, Metal Blaze, was meticulously crafted after extensive research to be superior to the real Blaze in every way. I do wish I hadn't rushed with Metal, but c'est la vie and all that."

"So this Metal Blaze is wreaking havoc in their world?" Silver inquired, his fists clenched tightly. Eggman confirmed that it was the case, fueling Silver's determination. Just as Eggman was about to take off, Silver interrupted sternly, "We're done here. Get out of my way."

Eggman chuckled, his voice dripping with mischief. "You're planning to go to Blaze and offer her your assistance," he deduced. A chair materialized beneath him as he floated up into a formidable-looking mech with four arms. "Since Nega is an ally, I can't allow you to do that, Silver."

Silver observed Eggman using his contraption to lunge at him, narrowly evading the colossal fists. He may not possess Sonic's swiftness, but he had decent speed. Silver jumped backward, using his psychokinesis to levitate in mid-air. One of the mechanical arms transformed into cannons, launching missiles at him. Silver gathered them all, forming a ball, and hurled it at Eggman's mech, causing it to recoil from the explosion. The arm reverted to its original form, and all four limbs lunged at Silver, who started leaping from arm to arm in an attempt to dodge. However, when he reached the topmost arm, Eggman flung him into the ceiling.

Gasping for air, Silver plummeted downward, the four fists of Eggman's mechanical monstrosity relentlessly pummeling him. ****, Silver extended his hands, enveloping the arms in a teal energy field, pushing back with all his might. The image of aiding Blaze ignited a second wind within him, filling his soul with determination. As the fists loosened their grip, Silver seized the opportunity. He gestured with his hand, causing the first arm to repeatedly strike Eggman's machine. Growling, Eggman bellowed a command, and all four cannons emitted an intense, burning light.

Thinking swiftly, Silver manipulated the arms to face each other, redirecting the high-powered lasers. The resulting collision caused all four arms to disintegrate simultaneously, leaving Eggman's machine stumbling and collapsing. A satisfied smirk appeared on Silver's face as he swiftly departed, heading toward the Rabbit Household.

Upon his arrival, Silver found Blaze waiting for him. “So?” Blaze asked quietly, did Eggman give you anything?”

Silver responded with “Nothing we didn’t already know about.” Which cause Blaze to deflate a little as Silver said, “However we can’t give up there’s always a way.”

Blaze's eyes filled with determination as she said, "Silver, I want you to train with me." His brows furrowed in surprise at her words. "I must become stronger to defeat Metal Blaze and retrieve the Sol Emeralds from Nega's grasp. Please, Silver, I need your help."

Silver locked eyes with her for a moment, then nodded affirmatively, his resolve firm.
