One important phone call

DJ’s mind wandered as PK took control of his form. It was almost like watching a boring movie as he drove through the city. Pulling up at the same spot that he knew all the women in his family used for their nail care, he winced. Surely someone inside would recognize him, or even possibly his mother’s clothes and call him out on it?

Instead, the manicure and pedicure went off without a hitch. An hour later his toes and fingers each sported a perfectly curated red and black ombre nail. The extensions on his fingers extending well past the tips.

Inside his own mind, DJ was growing complacent and bored. He knew that terrible things were likely to happen, but instead PK simply seemed content to take control and drive him through it all. He found it easy to disassociate from the reality he was being shown and simply drift within his own thoughts.

Those thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of a cell phone. The classic 50 Cent and Snoop song P.I.M.P blared out of the black phone case. A memory sparked up in DJ’s mind. Only 0ne number in his phone would ring with that song. Jeffery, the man who set up all his “dates”.

Carefully pressing the button on the phone, DJ felt PK answer with his voice. “Jeffy! What’s up honey?” A chuckle sounded through the speaker as DJ climbed back into his mother’s expensive car.

“DJ, I got an emergency call I need filled. Tell me you can do a job for me today?” DJ could sense the frustration coming from the man on the other end of the line. A memory that Jeffery was never this stressed about gigs showed up.

Again, using DJ’s voice PK responded. “Sure honey, I can do that. You know I blocked off tonight and tomorrow night, but if you need me for anytime up till either of those I am totally free. So who is the date with?”

‘Well boys, girls, sissies, theys, thems, and whoever else might be reading. Who does DJ have to escort for the day?’
