Promises Kept Universe
The universe is out to make us keep our word, no matter how unlikely.
Chapter 1
by RachelDaws
Becareful what you wish for. It feels like that line has been uttered more times than there are grains of sand. And yet still we hear of those whose wishes cause problems.
"I wish I could help." Do you? Or are you really just happy you found an excuse.
"I wish I could see you next week." Really? Cause if you wanted to you could probably make that happen. You just aren't willing to sacrifice enough. Or maybe it is even worse, and you have someone else you wish you could see more.
"I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller." Ok this one is acceptable.
As you can see, there are any number of ways for a wish to be a promise. In this set of universes, there is an entity. The Promise Keeper, PK for short. PK believes that when someone makes a wish, many times they are making a promise, either to themselves or to another. PK finds those words special, especially when uttered to and about someone other than the person who made the wish. Over the years, PK has watched humanity fail at these implied promises over and over. Anger at this behavior built up until even the powerful entity couldn't control itself and lashed out. Now, small parts of itself lash out and try to correct those failed promises.
With the amount of branches and possible stories I might build up with this story, PLEASE like a chapter if it is something you enjoy. I will be basing my posts on likes, comments, and of course whatever makes me happy.
Thanks!
All characters in the story are 18 years of age or older.
I'd say don't try this at home, but most of you aren't powerful multi-dimensional beings right?
Who is being to keep their promise?

A wish is a desire for something that is not easily attained. But what if that wish is easily obtained? Then, isn't that wish just an unkept promise?
