One by One they fall

Ashe got the worst for the ware, part of her pinky finger did end up getting sliced off completely. She has a giant slash across her right shoulder blade that is bleeding quite heavily as well as a few scraps across her legs. You just had that one light slash across your chest as another two or three light slashes on your arms as you weaved around the guards. Claire, you look her direction as you just shake your head back and forth, it looks like she didn't get touched at all.

"I think..." you huff out "I think we're out of here." you bring your forearm up, swiping your forehead as sweat was building up.

Ashe only winces heavily "Ahhh...I'm not feeling that great you guys." her eyes are squeezed shut as she's trying to steady her breath. Claire immediately runs over to her Sunrider and does her best to help calm her down. Claire takes her sword and cuts off the sleeve of her shirt so she can wrap it tight around Ashe's wounds "You're going to be alright, Ashe." she smiles at her

"Yeah...sure." Ashe swallows hard, blood still dripping to the ground below.

That's when you hear it. The sound of marching. "Oh shit..." you turn around, seeing another fifty or so Rathkin shoulders marching in your direction. "Shit, shit shit shit!" you groan which causes the girls to turn and look at the oncoming soldiers "We can't outrun them..."

"Then we...then we..." Ashe coughs hard, she follows the cough up with spitting on the ground, her saliva, full of blood. "we can fight!" she groans.

"Ashe." Claire says "Get out of here. Tell the Syndicate what happened here. Request the full army of the Syndicate. "Darien and I will hold these guards off as long as possible to give you time to make your retreat."

"Fuck no!" Ashe bears her teeth "I"m not leaving you!"

"You can't fight. You're too injured."

The look on Ashe's face, the fear in her eyes, the hard truth she just heard. "Luna..."

Claire reaches her hand up, placing it on Ashe's cheek, smiling into her. "Get out of here Ashe, that's an order."

Ashe swallows hard once more before nodding her head and turning away from Rathkin slowly lurching from the incoming soldiers, towards the treeline in the distance.

The two of you watch Ashe briefly as she escapes from the city. Hearing the sound of marching soldiers getting closer and closer behind you. "Whelp..." you turn towards Claire and smile at her "Let's fuck these Rathkin soldiers up." you wink at your sister as you turn around, unsheathing your weapons again. Claire kneels down, grabbing a second short sword in the process.

You know this is going to much more difficult. Not only are there more warriors, but you see a few Elite warriors in there as well. The ones with the golden armor engraved with the Rathkin signature. You know those ones at least have a ton of training with their weapons. They are going to be quite the handful to battle.

"We fight off as many as we can, then we turn tail and catch up to Ashe." you look at Claire "Got it?"

She just nods in your direction with a sly grin forming on her face.
