You’re walking down the path to Amy’s house when something catches the corner of your eye. You instinctively duck, the water balloon just grazing your head and leaving a wet streak in your hair.
“Soak the birthday boy! Soak the birthday boy!” chirps Dilly or Debbie from across a nearby fence. You glare in the direction of the giggles – it looks like the Dalton twins are up to their usual shenanigans.
