On the ship
Sailing on the ship to Menethil Harbour was one of the things I had always wanted to do. I had never left the mountains of Beornia so seeing this vast body of sea stretched all the way my eyes could see was mesmerising! I spent the first few days on the deck, watching, taking in the view as Kalimdor slowly faded in the distance.
However, once we hit the open seas, I must admit that the journey became somewhat boring. We had an amazing captain who steered us clear of any dangers so I did not even get the chance to see a storm at sea. Granted, it was for the better. I did not want to end up as fish food. Still, the days just dragged on and I quickly became starved for entertainment... anything!
Unfortunately, there was a scarcity of choices. Korant was a great bodyguard, but he was not exactly the fun-loving type and spent his days resting.
The dwarves were... well, they were the dwarves and spend their days drinking and playing card games. Fun, sure, but I wasn’t sure whether it was my type of thing.
There were no other travellers on the ship. Well, save for the sailors and the captain, naturally, but I had not been able to really strike a good conversation with them so far...
