On the Normandy

Stepping onto the Normandy after 2 years being out of commission was surreal to Shepard. Even though it was an all new crew, Shepard still had chills. She stepped on it dawning the Cerberus provided armor which was not too dissimilar to the N7 armor she once wore.

As Miranda debriefed Shepard, Shepard couldn’t help but look around. She was mentally comparing the SR2 with the SR1. There were some key differences a lot more modern technology. “And this is our Enhanced Defense Intelligence otherwise known as EDI.”

Shepard paused looking wary at the blue hologram projecting the EDI. “If you’ve read my combat history, you know I’m not keen on AI,” Shepard said.

“I’m well aware of your history with the rogue AI on the luna base,” Miranda said. “But I assure you EDI is monitored and secured by Cerberus. If you need me I’ll be in my office. But in the mean time we should probably focus on getting the Doctor. He’d be most useful in upgrading our ship to prepare for the Collectors.”

Shepard nodded.
