On patrol in the high street

With another uneventful patrol almost over Maria had started on her trip back to the station. She had spent the last hour walking up and down a bustling high street, there had been reports of pickpockets about the area over the last few weeks especially at midday day so Maria had taken it slow keeping an eye on the bigger crowds where pickpockets could move about unnoticed.

With her mind on other things Maria only barely noticed that her jacket was completely unzipped, sighing to herself she went to re zip it when in the corner of her eye she noticed something. Just a few shops in front of her was a woman carrying a rather big handbag, it wasn't her that caught Maria's attention however but instead the boy behind her, he looked no older than 16 or 17 and he was standing rather close to the woman. The woman herself seemed to be caught up in a heated phone call and seemed oblivious to the world around her. The boy attracted no attention from anyone else and with the woman obviously distracted he easily lifted her purse from her bag with ease.

Maria had seen the whole thing and yelled out at him, the boy seemed to freeze for a second but then realized he was far enough away from her that he could attempt to run and stood a good chance to escape her. Maria quickly followed after him, he was fast but in such a busy street he had to dodge around people slowing him slightly. With Maria closing the distance between them the boy swung left into an alleyway no doubt hoping to lose her in the back streets. Maria again followed and began to inch closer and closer to the boy until without warning she fell foward hitting the ground with a thud.

Groaning as she sat up Maria looked behind her for whatever it was she fell over, to her horror she realized it was her own trousers which were now pooled infront of her along with her police issue boots. She had tripped over her falling trousers and then fallen right out of them. As she went to grab them the boy she had been chasing who had no doubt seen the whole thing immediatly grabbed them and her boots and took off back towards the high street, with only seconds to comprehend what had happened Maria took off after him again but then stopped suddenly when she felt the wind hit her in the chest, looking down Maria gasped, she hadn't even noticed that her shirt was completely unbuttoned.

Her face blood red Maria re-buttoned her shirt, by now the boy was long gone as were her pants and boots. Looking down at herself Maria was at a loss about what to do next, there was no way in hell she was going to radio this in she had no intention of explaining why she was half undressed.

But standing in an alleyway wearing nothing on her bottom half but a pair of panties Maria had no idea what she was going to do.
