• You're interrupted or have to stop. Maybe it's something interesting like a loose magical beast. Or maybe someone urgently needs the Headmistress' attention related to school duties.
• The Headmistress is offended by your attitude, approach, or performance. Take -1 to your Ambition roll to GET OUT OF TROUBLE.
• Caught in the Staff Ladies' Necessary Room. (Maybe the head of House Beavertail is coming out of the ladies' loo into the lounge?) Next: GET OUT OF TROUBLE. (If the Headmistress is still present, take -1 to your Ambition roll to GET OUT OF TROUBLE).
• Caught by a FRIEND who disapproves. Lose the FRIEND. (What is Anastasia so dismayed about that she doesn't want to see you?)
• Caught with your pants down in dangerous circumstances or by a threatening creature. (Does the Headmistress have enemies?) Next: GET OUT OF DANGER.

If you're merely left behind and don't get in worse trouble, your next move is probably to go to your House, or perhaps to look up Anastasia or go spy out the Broom Polo grounds.
