When the ward falls, CHARM sails across the hallway and seizes Blake before he quite completes his spell.

Blake stands there, blinking, looking a bit confused. He lowers his wand. "Wait, did we just have a duel?"

"Aye," you say.

"Who won?" he asks.

"I did," you tell him. "Not to worry. Will you help me out if there's anyone else cross at me? I mean, it's silly to just keep having to fight, right?"

"Right," Blake says. "Sure, Poesy, I'll let 'em know not to bother you."

"Thank you so much," you tell him. It's about...teatime, you think. "Let's all go get some tea."

A couple of folks slink off, but part of the group trundles along with you and Blake to get tea.
