Who called out to you?
Old Lady Sally
“Well fancy meeting you here,” the older woman purred, coming to stand before you, a wicked smile stretched across her aged features.

A flush of excitement shot through you at the sinful memory the two of you had shared. But you fought it down and smiled at the old sorceress. “Hello Sally.”
“I’m surprised to see you out and about today,” the older woman said, voice thick with mirth. She took a few more steps until she was right in front of you, her voice lowered conspiratorially, “I figured you would be laying low.”
That got a jab of fear out of you. “W-what do you mean?”
“Don’t kid around,” she laughed, “the steel mill last night? The big fire? The Mayor and all of his rich friends worked up into a fit. That was you, wasn’t it?” Your expression must have told her everything, because she broke into a rich string of laughter. “Ohhh it was, wasn’t it! Oh my boy, you’ve really excelled yourself now!”
You looked around, fearfully praying that no one was listening. “Shh! Don’t go spreading that shit around!”
“Oh, sweet boy, lighten up. You’ve proven yourself to be a real chip off your grandpa’s block,” she grinned, her teeth sharp and her eyes predatory. “You’ve drawn blood from that order of fools, and I think it’s time we had a discussion about how to proceed.”
“We?”
Sally’s eyes twinkled. “Why don’t we go inside the library, and maybe we can talk about how we can bring down Chapman…”
